Great video Adam - love your Indonesian to English translation on everything from Menus to actual food. That babi guling looks amazing. I'll try it out in May
Yeah it’s an interesting little area around the canal there. Not a lot going on except the roast pig but I like running up and around there as it’s never too busy.
Great video mate. Just been to sanur again and the best meal we had by far was sate babi with tipat at pantai karang. 10 peices with tipat 30,000. Delicious.
Thx Adam… it looks amazing, definitely worth a visit… ur description is the best, your videos are amazing…. For someone like myself who now values fat and drinks that have less sugar/fructose this meal is the BEST 🙏 saya berharap kamu keep the first class productions going👍
This is my local, when they are open which is pot luck they open at 10.30, it is sensational, very fresh and i have eaten alot of babi guling/sam sam the best taste and price by far, due to a family member illness not open too much at the moment
Thank you for creating this video about this warung! Food looks amazing. It is nice to see the menu and how the warung looks like. Any place you recommend to have Ikan bakar around sanur or in Nusa Lembongan please?
To be honest, I’m not really up to date on the seafood situation so I can’t recommend any ikan bakar! All I know is that people love Amphibia for their seafood, but I haven’t tried it.
@@SanurDiaries oh idk . I saw a bus from ubud I plan on taking to sanur. But also a way from the north south inside Sanur .. maybe that isn’t really a local bus ? I just looked at google maps for this stuff
@spicyroads ah yeah I know what you’re talking about. It’s called teman bus and it’s the Bali public bus that’s been around for a few years now and almost no one uses. If you google it, you can find a route map. Payment is by a tap card that you can get from Indomaret. The bus to Ubud leaves from the north of Sanur on the bypass if I’m not mistaken and the bus to Kuta goes from the other side of the road. I’m going to do a whole video on it which will probably need to be quite detailed because it’s not as straightforward as it could be. But I think once you understand how the bus system works, it’s a good way to get to certain points on the island and quite economical.
Im going to give this a go in June. Im a fairly adventurous eater; my only small concern is whether the drainage channel water just behind is attracting the flies eg black water.....I don't want to be an overly cautious bule Adam......any thoughts??
It's a fair concern, but I find the canal in that part to be OK and is usually flowing quite well. There's just the odd occasion when it gets clogged with rubbish and it's low tide that it can stink. For the past few months it's been perfectly fine. I actually really enjoy that little area!
Yeah I know. Saw a guy taking to it with a sledgehammer the other day and it’s just a pile of rubble now. I heard the owner had some family issues. It’s actually something I probably should update the channel about in a short video soon.
That Samsam looks amazingly delicious❤.
And by the way your Indo pronounciation was superb!
Samsam Guling Men Dimas flagged..will try on 29 March !
Thanks for the compliment! Let me know if you like the Warung! I think it’s a winner!

Sounds good! I've only ever had the one down at pantai mertasari, so I'll give that one a go as well at some stage. Thanks for the tip!
What warung was this?
It was across from warung wati. A lady sitting on the step with a wire grill and plenty of smoke just at the entrance to pantai kanang.

This was great, the best healthy $3 meal is KooD imo.
Not sure if you have reviewed it already, of not its worthy especially the gelato.
Cheers

I haven’t reviewed it but I have been there a few times. It’s definitely fantastic for healthy food!
My type of place ! I can’t wait to try . I see you an take a bus up\down the main road
You mean the green minivan? Or do you mean the bus that travels to Kuta and Denpasar etc?
