I have that same issue now along with my radio not working. Update: same 15amp under the hood, I pulled it and it was still good, put it back in and worked.
If it has a six disc changer and it keeps trying to read a disc and is loud all the time what do you do? Is there a separate fuse for the cd disc changer ?

Added a new touchscreen head unit to my 2009 Silverado LT 5.3, and now only the front door speakers and tweeters work. The rear speakers don’t seem to be working. I used the front to back adjuster and I heard nothing in the rear. Double checked the wiring and I don’t think that’s the problem.
I don’t hear anything til like 30 min go by then a pop noise come them my door chime seat belt and radio start work do you kno the reason on 05 Silverado

I noticed a whining in my CD player about a week ago. Even if the switch was off and no CD in the player it continued to run. Leaving for work this morning I found the battery to be dead. Which fuse would need to be pulled to shut that down?

@@blake_229 I had the same problem when I bought my used 2008 Silverado WT. The blinking sound of the turn signals come through the radio speakers. The radio was ok but had two blown speakers. Replacing the speakers resolved the problem.

I have a 2010 suburban the LCD display is very very dim I can't see the radio controls or channels. Everything else works. Same radio as your Silverado.

Yea i have a 2008 GMC Serria the front 2 speakers are all that works the Tweeters. Can't figure out how to get rest working. I have checked all fuses and the balance,treble,bass,etc. Any help wold be great.

Noether of these work for a radio in 2008 wt Sierra. That's constant power. Not 12v switched power. If you use that and walk away you'll come back to a dead battery.

I got the Sierra of the same year and my radio head unit keeps cycling the cd tray draining the battery have you heard of this before?
Mines doing the same thing. Pulled fuse to verify it was cd player. Im just going to replace mine

I've checked all these fuses plus the fuse in the stereo. My fuel pump went out and after I replaced it the stereo won't power on.
Nevermind. Seems all I had to do was remove and replace all of the fuses that weren't blown and then make a comment on youtube. It works now!
