Thank you so much for this video! I am beginner face painter and have my first bug event soon and I am super anxious as I don't feel that I am that good! But I'll still go ahead and force myself out there as I love face painting ❤ thank you for the advice too ❤❤
Thank you for watching. Good luck.
Thanks for sharing that tip about on the job work versus instagram. I feel like I've been so discouraged because i look at Instagram and my work doesn't compare. Thanks for that reminder.
You're so welcome! Glad I can help.
Thank you
thank you!
I don't see the chunky glitter on the amazon list you linked, just the small glitter spray. What glitter do you suggest?
Thank you! Nice to have newer videos on You Tube. Please, what to you use for glitter cream applicators and where can I get the large glitter creams? So much good info and appreciate seeing you at work and that it is not perfect all the time! Happy Labor Day!!!
Check out your favorite on line face painting store. Thanks for watching.
You’re always a favorite of mine to watch!
What brand of wax based glitter are you using? Haven’t seen the large containers but would love to know where to find them.
What you said at 4:19 was definitely meant for me to hear thank you so much for your honesty 😊 your work is amazing! Real! And at a great speed!
It's an important thing to remember!
Thank you so much for this video and tips ☺️ I am wondering how you close the Q when you have to finish?
I probably need to make a video on that. Keep an eye out.
Great video! How did you decorate the outside of your craftngo with your logo and the rainbow colors?
It's a printed sticker.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for this video ... very helpful 💖 Do you gave a picture list Ariel and do you only paint those designs ?
Nope, just a word board.
how are you keeping hair out of faces? hair bands? clips? Also if you are flying solo how do you tackle payment?
I have Bobby pins with me if it’s really bad but I usually just hold hair up out of the face.
Where did you get your chair? 😃
I love your work 😍
Hey...I got it from Amazon. I have a detailed video on my channel about my chair but the link gets broken a lot so you may have to search for it.
What was the white primer you used for the purple tiger? I have never seen that tool before.
It's powder makeup called starblends. I use alongside the paint but not as a primer.
How much do you take on each child?
I just started doing facepaint. My first event was this past weekend and it was busy. One question that was asked was, "how many did you paint?" On average, how many faces do you paint in a day at a show?
yess, I need help with this too. I feel like I'm taking too long for kids cause I do like 15 kids per hour and even less sometimes, I need to be faster but I don't know how fast lol
what split cake did you use for butterfly ?
It's one of the Leanne Fusion cakes but they don't have names on the back so not sure.
beautiful work Ariel! can you share the link for the glitter please
check out my Amazon store in the description box. :)
@@Arielpaints I can’t seem to find the wax glitter in big containers you used on this video
@@Arielpaints I don't see the wax glitter you used in your store. can you share a direct link please?
Do you double dip to load more???
Yes, I do go back into my paint and load more.
Where can i get the paste like glitter you apply?
check the online face painting shops...look for cream glitter.
What’s the tool you’re using to apply the face paint on the arm stencil?
It may have been a smoothie blender. I use those with my stencils and starblends often.
Quick question: how do you clean your supplies (sponges and brushes) in between clients? I don’t just wanna assume soaking them in water, because maybe I’m thinking clients can get a little finicky about that… but really, how?
i want to know too!
It’s just cleaning with water and drying them off , I never seen a paint face artist spray sanitize the brushes because that can be bad for sensitive skin kids
I know there are different rules in different countries. In mine there is recomended to have one set brushes per kid. Second joice is to use rubbing alcohol fo clean the brushes after each kid and you can use the brush again when its dry. So you need a lot of brushes.....
was this a free to the public event?
Yes, the paid me and it was free to the public.
I know this is an old thread, but here goes: how much did you speed up the video? 2x? 3x? I am beginning and trying to figure out what my time goal should be for different designs, So I'd like to know in real time how long it took you.
It’s hard to say because I don’t have the old edited footage to check for sure but I’d say at least 2x. Just remember in the beginning everything will take you twice as as long if not 3 times as long. Once you get the muscle memory down and tons of practice you will be able to go faster and it will be more like and instinct than and effort.
How many sponges do you buy?
I always make sure to have a full bag of them. Guessing I have 50-60 but have never counted. If I feel like I'm running low I just start doing more one stroke designs.
Do you chang sponges upon each person?
@@mariastarfire1 Unless it's something like stars on a forehead I use a new sponge per kid. I'll make a more specific video on this as I'm getting this question a lot.
🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍👍👍👍
Miss seeing you!
I've been busy. Will try to film more gigs as that seems like the best way to get a video out quickly these days.
