Bravo! Nice little story! I love how in typical Thomas and James fashion, their enormous egos set the blaze, and how, ironically, it was the cause for it to end. Also Percy's misconception of counting stock was genius. Perfect Ballance between the naive Percy we love, and the whitty little bugger he is in the RWS. Speaking of wits, Thomas' and James' argument about their incidents is perfectly paced. No narrator coming in, just two hot heads taking the piss out of each other! Well done!
"Annie sighed, wondering how she'd landed herself in the middle of this kerfuffle." Absolutely brilliant writing, considering she's always between Thomas and Clarabel. Also, this is the first time I've seen someone mention priming. That's a nasty way to damage a steam engine.
A wonderful story Mike! Probably one of your best. It fits so nicely into the RWS and I loved everything about the ending, especially since it's one of the rare times we hear James actually giving a legitimate apology for once. I also noticed the detail of James accidentally using Toby's trick to shoo away the cows. Nice touch!
My dad's been watching "curb your enthusiasm" and there was an episode with Russell Means, (Billy Two Feathers) and it was just so cool to see him somewhere outside of Thomas. So it's also fun to see this lil title reference
A lovely story, I also just realized how little thomas and james interacted in the books. there was the time in james and the top hat, but james didn’t even say anything to Thomas, that time in old iron and that’s it. So i can see why you chose this duo.
Oh man. I loved this story! So, do good to see a james story with a happy ending, a james AND thomas story, no less! That final exchange where thomas admitted he was happy to see james - 🍒 cherry on top. Brava, once again Mike!
Great title and just a great story all around. Easily one of my new favorites. It’s a simple story that explores the dynamic between James and Thomas as well as Percy being the tired middle man, but sometimes simplicity really works.
That was a great story. Love how you built off the small rivalry/friendship between Thomas and James, and I found Percy's remarks to be super funny. Though I do have to ask, will you be doing more narrations of your older stories and other Twitter stories like you did with Six Little Engines?
This Story is brilliant, This does remind me of one of the argument me and one of my friends who favorite character was James were auguring a few years ago and my Brother was tired of hearing us go on and on. I believe The Fat Controller didn't get involve just like in More About Thomas The Tank Engine when Thomas and Percy were falling out
Thank you so much from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺. I’m very happy you made up a story about my personal favourite character, Thomas and narrated by you, Mike
Absolutely fantastic story as always. I must say, the first 4 or so minutes of the video has got me wondering what a story where it’s just one long argument from start to finish would be like. Just adding intensity with those little witty quips till it crescendos with both engines being put in their place by either an authority figure of some variety or one of their many peers. A “realistic” interpretation of a slice of life story if you will. Anyways, as said before. Wonderful story, absolutely adore how you write the engine’s bickering
* frolic by Luciano Michelini starts playing * For real tho, nice pun meme 11/10 IGN rating :P I like the story too. Can’t wait for someone to adapt it.
Many of the stories you've done have been quite good. And this is a story so good, it seems like it should be part of the Railway Series itself. Nice job. I also have enjoyed many of the TH-cam videos based on your stories, such as those by Carson's Workshop. If I may add a bit of a critique outside of the story though, I noticed in the description that you had a hashtag with the f word right next to it. I understand that it's likely there to get around the COPPA law so you can keep your comments, but from what I've seen of a few other TH-cam videos of Thomas fans that did similar things, they still got marked as "Made for kids" by TH-cam. So I think that the only sure thing that this can do is teach children words that they shouldn't know. My apologies if this upsets you. Some TH-camrs like Carson's Workshop have put posts on the TH-cam community section to keep comments through that, so maybe you can give that a try.
“If you can’t take the the heat, drop your fire!” is a 10/10 line.
I can see a sequel set on the Bluebell Railway: "Adams Ruins Everything."
'Bootlaces'
'Now you've crossed the line!'
The callbacks between these two are unmatched! 10/10 for story & dialogue!
It’s funny to think how little Thomas and James interacted in the original books, but they’re always a fun pair.
This boi Percy cant sleep in peace without Thomas and James fighting over dumbass shit.
I love the title, a nice play-on of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'.
Bravo! Nice little story!

A great Thomas and James story. I wished Awdry or Chris pushed this dynamic a little more in the books.

Another wonderful and creative story! Thanks for the entertainment! Much enjoyed.
Nice story, dude! I love how all it took for James to lash out at Thomas was to remind him of his infamous 'bootlace' affair!

This feels like something from Christopher’s books or the classic era.

great story. very interesting to hear about James doing a toby

A very “touching” story, definitely gonna be making a remake of it!
Wonderful story! Always loved the Thomas and James dynamic, and hey, maybe I'll have to adapt this eventually!
Now this was a great Thomas and James story. Everyone is pretty much a mood in this story and I love it. Keep up the good Mike!

This was really a amusing story!
I've always loved the dynamic between Thomas and James, they always bring out the worst in each other!😆

Yes, I will! I have a bunch of stories recorded, but just have to get around to editing them before I post them here!
A jolly good time.

Now that was a great Story!, I give this one 10/10.😄👍🏽
Once again youve knocked it out of the park! Amazing work
I love a good Thomas and James story. I enjoy your stories. Win to the win. Good show!
Hitting it out of the park once again!

Great Job On The Video.

I like the story too. Can’t wait for someone to adapt it.
Series 5-6(1998-2002)
Narrated by: Alec Baldwin
I might think the adventure takes place in season 2
I feel like Clarabel’s remark about cows is a reference to something…
Nah, I just thought it would be funny to give her a previously-unheard-of disliking towards them.
@@TheBuriedTruck Oh ok. That’s fine too. I thought it was Donald’s Duck situation. Either way, it’s a great story.
I don't get it. A reference to what?

Why do Clarabelle sounds like Henry in disguise? 😅
This is so awesome and it makes me happy 😊 and it makes me laugh 😂 and now my stumt hurts right 👉 now. And this is an awesome video 📹
