Just found out about these metal mechanical kits, look amazing, ordered money to be delivered in a week, looks so cool and slightly challenging but beware prices are crazy, I have seen this one going for between £38 and £109.
Will do this then mantis then if I am capable I want to do the t-rex. Again prices vary so much, from 299 to 599. Wish I could find a good site to buy cheaply.

Thanks for this video. I'm glad it randomly popped up in my feed because I ended up buying this for my son for Christmas. We had a lot of fun building it together. My only complaint is that the nuts would not stay tight on the screws. They constantly loosen and a few even fell off even though we tightened them well. I'll probably hit them with a bit of threadlocker or something to keep the nuts on.

I had to do that with my Bluetooth spider. His knees would constantly collapse once his ass was attached with the speaker. Loctite works wonders 😂

Great video. You make it look so easy! I wish you did a step-by-step detailed series. I'm currently stuck on step 7 (Upper body assembly) specifically putting the main stinger onto the end of the tail. The parts are so small and need to line up perfectly. My previous idea of using Silly Putty to hold pieces in place while I attach other parts worked perfectly early on, but not so much for this step.
We are so alike. I'm stuck on the same part, and used sticky tac to hold pieces upright in the beginning. The specific problem for me is either the gap caused by the two 5x0.8x1 pipes, or the length of the m2x3 screw. If the pipes were slimmer, or the screw was two threads longer, it would be fine. And I can't find any tutorials.

I think mine came with problem, in the first part of the mouth, my piece C1-1 seens not fiting in the side of C3 and A17 :C i don't know if im doing something wrong, yours seens perfect.
