Now why on earth do Churches not have this kind of gospel?? I used to play the piano/organ at a church in Southeastern Michigan and this was one of the hymns i suggested for a sunday morning meet/greet and ya should have seen how happy and lively the congregation became as the song progressed. This like so many other wonderful gospel songs seem to have been buried in the back of churches along with singing and harmonizing with the piano/organ/bass/drums. We have sadly stepped away from the great time testes gospel songs and have gone to a digitized CD music style that still chews me up inside. I love and miss this kind of fellowship more and more each day.
I'm with you phil....I have thought the same thing for years now and it just ain't the complete church without this beautiful music. I really miss it.

I co-wrote Lookin For A City with Jack Hayford. My daughter Meghen was in foster care with his son and daughter in law. The song 🎵 was written for the occasion of Megghen's 6th birthday. She had ARC and was quit sick. Praise God! Meghen got her healing that night in a special healing service. God is good!!

I love seeing these post bout how good both Tim and Bill were. Bill seems natural low like Tim. Bill may not quite have the same power on the lows as Tim but Bill still sounds good on his notes too. The way I see it is Tim wouldn’t have picked Bill to replace him if he didn’t see potential in Bill. I’m sure Tim helped season Bill for replacing him too and gave him the placement speech and work with him. Gotta love both of them honestly.
