I'm finally...FINALLY (I hope) going on my first cruise in almost 23 months just 4 weeks from tomorrow and our first stop is Roatan - my first time. I picked this cruise specifically because I kept missing Roatan on my itineraries and a friend told me I MUST get there. Now I'm even more excited!
Am I the only one who things sloths are actually kind of scary looking? I get the cute factor, but they have a weird half-cute, half-mini human-alien hybrid vibe to them. And they're so slow, you expect them to have sudden bursts of speed like reptiles or something, dunno... Edit: maybe it's their dark eyes
This was a wonderful day in Roatan. I'm not much of a beach person, but the scenic point, sloth & monkey experience, and general sightseeing tour certainly surpassed my hopes for a great day in Roatan. THANK YOU to the Sharon at Sea group, Johan at Real Deal Tours, and all of the group for an amazing day! (PS: If you're on the fence about joining a Sharon at Sea group cruise or a RealDeal tour, JUST DO IT! You'll be gald you did!!!!)
What a great excursion. A little bit of everything for everyone!! When the people left the monkeys & sloughs and went to the rum factory & sight seeing tour were they able to go to the all- inclusive resort or was it too late & they just came back to pick up everyone at resort & head back to the ship?
They headed back to the ship after. We had the group split in half. Everyone picked what they wanted to do. Some wanted All inclusive and some wanted the island tour...
So I like the idea of the floating bar in the water but one would still have to get out of the water and get some money to pay the man right? Who carries money or even a card into the water with them?
true, but you can always go get some cash while he's making the drink?! He's doing what it takes to make a living, it must work or he wouldn't be doing it I wouldn't thingk
