I don't think anybody can put up with how corrupt doctors are (i. e., let patients allowed to die on the operating table because of not enough insurance; denying patients full and proper medical treatment because of their race; stealing money from insurance companies). He could maintain his integrity doing something else and make money.
A lot of nurses do it JUST for the money and have no business being in nursing (take at look at most nursing homes, they're the worst nurses)

...I don't do it to be nice. I do it so he doesn't get the food all over himself or choke. And not just because he's my dad, but because it's probably frusterating wanting to eat and you can't. If I were in that situation I'd want someone to help me.

The other day a guy was struggling at the gas pump and asked me for $5 in gas. I filled up his tank and brought him inside and bought him a slice of pizza and a large Drink. His reaction was worth that $60 alone. When you are in a position to help someone else that feeling is priceless

Nah humanity isn't going to hell, Don't generalize everyone just because of your experience. People around the world do all kinds of things for each other and don't want the recognition or applauds. I've bought homeless people meals a lot and I don't even think twice about it, I just do it. I can remember a year or so ago, I bought this man a meal, who was just sitting inside the restaurant, maybe from exhaustion and he just busted out crying like a baby, said he had been praying that he'd get some food today. Everyone in the restaurant seemed embarrassed they didnt do anything, It was just an automatic reflex for me....
I wish the news was littered with hero’s like this guy , imagine what that could do to children seeing these actions all their lives

People say having good parents is what creates people like him and while I’m sure it does at times, But a lot of it has to do with the person themselves!
