    This project reminds me of young people damning up creeks when on holidays or around their homes and then busting them when they are full of water. This is an amazing skillful example of this indicating many years of practice and enjoying life. Thanks for the fun.

    Hello Chris, I've been watching Mike and Aaron working together for many hours and months and years, so based on that, I'd hazard to guess Mike didn't "forget" to tell you about the high-low switch on the compactor. Mikes a fun loving sort of a fellow and he and Aaron have spent many hours operating that machine. So now you know, why he was smiling when he left. Mike is awesome with installing clay tile and the project will be "Dirt Perfect" when you're done. It's been great to see you and Robert come up to Derby and help out, so thanks for this video.

    It's coming together nicely. I had some doubts at first as steep as the road is. I can't wait to see the finished product. It would be impressive to fill the whole thing up. That would be cost prohibited. Be safe and pray no air lines blow.

      Im assuming u mean air lines for air brakes, but air brakes lock if a line breaks and they lose pressure.

    This was exciting. In The Pacific Northwest the loggers for the last 150 years routinely risked life and limb to get across little canyons like this. Thos temporary solutions in many cases still stand, just as I'm sure this earthen dam will stand for a hundred years.

      @gregm4441 ปีที่แล้ว

      There wasn't much thought for the environment back in those early days either. Dam the river fill the small lake with logs then dynamite the dam and catch the logs far downstream. Rinse, and repeat.

    Hello Chris, Great that you and Mike are such good friends, that you can go visit the other from time to time and can help in each others projects. Great that you can all have a bit of fun to break up any stress, if there is ever any, but still remain professional about the jobs at hand and get her done. Was surprised that you didn't use any rip rap at the base of all this, and just used tons of clay. I would of thought the base of rip[ rap would of been more sturdy. Then again I am just a 67 yr old senior lady here so what do I know, just thinking from all the videos of you both that I have seen over the last yr or so. Must admit I love this little cover, and specuially in the early mornings, looks so peaceful and pretty..

    This video really shows off what makes Chris different from most other excavator operators. Watch the flow as he dumps into the truck and he's already lifting and moving back for the next scoop even before his bucket is totally empty, and the boom swing is fast. There is just zero time wasted. Most operators I see go half as fast or worse. Guess this is what happens when you work for yourself versus paid by the hour. Chris is getting it all done right as fast as possible. Everybody else wants to take as long as possible and rework is fine.
