Bravo Media sails through the French Riviera in a new season of Below Deck Mediterranean. Sandy may be navigating the “Sirocco” mega yacht again, but she brings a new level of leadership in season four. With high expectations, she has no tolerance for anything short of perfection and will take drastic measures if the crew can’t deliver. Hannah, looking to right her wrongs from last season, is hoping for smooth sailing with a strong interior crew. But will choppy waters threaten her redemption? Mila, classically trained in French culinary cuisine, becomes the first female chef in franchise history, but after a bout with food poisoning right as the first charter guests are set to arrive, she’ll have her work cut out for her. Aesha, coping with a difficult past and using humor to get through tough times, is ready to hit the high seas and get another charter under her belt. Anastasia, born in the Republic of Georgia, has a strong sense of pride in her work ethic which takes her on an unexpected journey. João is looking for a fresh start and is laser focused on being the best Bosun for the crew, but not everyone is on board. Colin, feeling homesick, quickly finds himself on the outs after trying to connect with the new deck crew. Travis after a few mishaps begins to question leadership, however, it’s his “work hard, play hard” mentality that comes into question by the rest of the crew. Jack ruffles feathers when the crew notices he’s putting more effort into pursuing a crew member than his actual job.

I really enjoyed this season - I think the crew really got along (even when they weren't) and it was nice to see. I prefer happy, warm, fuzzy moments over screaming & backstabbing.
Joao and Colin were the MVPs of the season.
Hannah doesn't make an effort unless she absolutely has to. She really hates her job and more interested in fake hug rituals.
Agree. She does the absolute minimum and seems somehow put out when she's asked for more and starts complaining. Lazy.
Too bad that the show is only an hour long otherwise we could see how much the crew really works with with very little rest for weeks.
Captain Sandy claimed in an interview she trains her staff on how she wants things well what happened to the training? Surprising the staff with whims is more for the cameras.
I could never understand why or how people were going so crazy when Sandy finally fired Hannah. Like she was never really stellar at being chief stew and was always complaining…. I didn’t understand all the backlash
There is much bitching about Sandy which I think is unfair. She is the boss and has to deal with backchatting, unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour from some of her crew members who seem to find it very hard to take criticism or follow orders. Goodness if I was their boss I would come down much harder on some of them.
i love colin, i feel like anybody else on all 3 shows would just move to a different room annoyed that the cabin was hot and mate was restless.

YES they should switch Kate and Hannah for one season. Captain Lee would put Hannah in her place and Sandy would get an amazing chief stewardess for once!

Just started watching this when it came onto All4, I liked hannah in the first season but as I went through up to season 3 I started to hate her because she puts in minimal effort for everything and is hypocritical almost all of the time. She reminds me of girls in my year group in high school

Give Hannah a break....She wasn’t made aware that Sandy had given the instruction. And to be honest when they put those gloves on they looked more like gloves you would see an old minstrel show than gloves that would be used to serve food. I think Hannah made the right call.

I guess Hanna was hoping Aesha would follow her lead and also lie about the white glove service but Aesha was just being honest. Don't know why Hanna had to lie. Maybe she was afraid like a child gets afraid to tell the truth but lies anyway. Hannah just kept making herself look bad.
Wow, this captain is temperamental! Successful women should not need to keep stressing their status and hectoring can reduce morale no end. Clearly she has a thing about female staff and preserving the overall pecking order. Staff who want to do a job well and feel valued are more proactive. The yelling must give everyone a headache. As for the pirates reference, interesting but tying in with luxury yacht charters?

I’m watching Below Deck Med from Season 1 as I didn’t really start paying attention until Season 3. I’m currently on Season 2. How did Hannah get asked back? She slept with a Charter guest, had shots with him and then LIED about it when it was discovered! Charter guest Jason was quite attractive, rich & was his states “Most .Eligible Bachelor”. He had dropped his cell phonic in the hot tub so he was using the boats master iPad to text Hannah. One of the crew discovered it and when they discovered it, Hannah *SWORE ON HER FATHER’S LIFE* that the text messages were sent after he left the charter. She broke several of Sandy’s rules, the boats rules and probably the maritime laws. How does someone like that get to keep her job?
She’s also lazy and spends more time gossiping & complaining than she does working. I don’t like her at all and think Bravo should get a new Chief Stew for Below Deck Med.

Sandy will never be a real captain with respect. She worries more about how tough she looks than how she actually leads and demands respect without giving something deserving of it
Captain Sandy is trying too hard to be taken serious. She is in everyone's business, worries so much about how the table should look and if it wasn't to her expectations, they all heard her wrath..but the guests never complained how the table setting looked, they focused on the atmosphere, the views and the food.

She asks a direct question and he doesn't give a direct answer. When pressed, he says he doesn't think it's necessary. If it's been a pattern and/or she previously asked him to do it, it makes sense that a captain would be upset.
Tbh Hannah is really attractive to me idk why. But with an attitude, demeanor, character like she has is one of the biggest turn offs in the history of human life 😂 not to mention her taking Valium. Which in my opinion is dangerous in itself + not having proper paperwork letting the captain know she had it. If she just had weed, warning and throw it away. But Valium and weed? Probably a really bad idea. Glad she's in a better place now though. I think she's pretty lucky to have not had a serious medical issue.
