So important that these kind of movies show the pain and suffering people went through and are still going through just because of love and society’s view on who you can love and what is acceptable.
David Dawson is a gem. So happy to see him finally getting his deserved recognition

I coluld cry immediately before I'm able to watch the whole movie. The cast is great. It will be a milestone for every actor especially for Harry.

Amazing movie, the story is so devastating but beautiful, it leaves a very important message about love, freedom and time, the cast is brilliant and Harry's performance is remarkable! 💞👏

i have 30 pages left in the book. Should i finish it and know the ending or wait for the movie and discover the ending in the movie???
I read 85% of the book, so probably about 30 lages left as well. Stop there.
If I had it to do over again I'd probably not read it until I'd seen the film.
I watched it for the 2nd time today, after seening it first at TIFF.
It is SO beautifully made, and the cast is wonderful. You'll be stunned by how the older Marion and Tom look, sound, and move very much like Emma and Harry.
If you haven't already finished the book, I say finish it. The ending in the movie is different than in the book. They're similar but definitely more impactful and sad, in my opinion, in the book. Both are great regardless :)

at first tom was in denial.
but he loved patrick and even marion .
but i don't understand how can anyone can be in love with two persons at the same time?
tom didn't show a sign of pain when patrick went to jail. when marion asked "do you love patrick" he says i love you
i really don't understand why didn't his heart wrenched in pain when after years they were in the same house a room apart.
or i just couldn't connect with him
