Right, every generation has them, usually young and full of other peoples stories, standing there not thinking well. Growing up takes decades! Turn the screen off! Drive/walk around with your friends, go make more! and chill until that happens. It’s nothing but dirty diapers and bills and you need a bank of good times to float you through the bad.
Facts to think about... 2 fires were suspected by human error Lake shore fire, and Quarry fire. I have not heard any report on what started the Stone Canyon or Alexander Mountain. Another fact I observed from my home [foothills west of Berthoud] all winds were MILD if at all; and blowing south to north, yet, the fires were 'progressing' north to south.
Don't get it ... Up here in Montana we put the damn things out ... Starts small stays small ... My department has run on as many as 10 grass fires a day ... Railroad not power lines though those aren't completely innocent either ... So 10 sqft only becomes 50 acres if you let it ... The exception is when it's on federal land. If we get there first we put it out and take the a_s chewing ... If the USFS gets there first we pack for 21 days
Single digit humidity, wind, 95 - 100 degree temperatures, and no significant rain recently. That makes fires grow amazingly quickly. I watched one several years ago that was moving in the grassland at over 35 miles per hour. Almost impossible to stop.

Um, we were camping in the Poudre Canyon last weekend and EVERY afternoon we had HUGE thunderstorms and HEAVY rain…. (Just to correct the “no rain in Colorado for weeks” comment-if storms like the ones we experienced last week happened in these areas, lightning definitely could be a possibility…. Not saying it was but definitely possibilities.)
They're all in a line because these are the most popular hiking areas, and it's summer so people are coming from out of state unaware of risks, throwing cigs and joints on the ground. Fires an inside job? Come on guys

Thanks for explaining, Kyle! 😊
These fires and just the smell of the smoke in Boulder, reminds me of the Marshall Fire we had to evacuate for.
PTSD 😮
They stopped the one yesterday along turkey creek canyon. Site of origin along US285. Some people just want to watch the world burn.

and they wont talk about possible sources of ignition... they are going with the "climate change caused it" narrative.

Great presentation by the reporters.

Gravity affects the path of fire, not just wind
@@Mr.Thermistor7228 The officials are asking locals to come forth w/ any info.
Because 2 of the fires look 'suspicious'.
First thought . . . all set by one person traveling along either north or south. Too coincidental to all be naturally started.

Largest fire in Montana‘s history is
3 million acres. Don’t jinx yourself
I think the mountains make it more difficult to access

It's been raining along in Southern Colorado.
