Your videos help me through the times when I am not on a cross country trip. Of all the TH-cam motorcycle travelers your travel most resembles mine. I find many creators content irritating. I find your videos peaceful, even sublime. Thank you for remaining true to yourself and for not feeling that you have to prove anything to to anyone. You come across as very genuine and your sweet spirit shows in all your videos. I and the four other members of my family all cross country Moto travel/camp on cruisers and we constantly discuss that others make a huge deal about having to have an “adventure bike”. You prove what we say…..any bike can be an “adventure bike”. Please know that your efforts are noticed and enjoyed. Also, please keep your laidback style. It is very appreciated.
As an adventure bike rider, I agree with everything you said 😂 An adventure bike should be any bike that you go have adventures on. There's too much focus on equipment and technique when all that matters is swinging a leg over the saddle and riding off into the unknown. Motorcycling is a very personal calling that non-motorcyclists usually don't understand, and I find Laura's contemplative journeys and relaxed riding style similar to mine.
I have lived in the NWT my whole life - have driven the highway Lord knows how many times but seeing the trip through your videos has given me a new sense of appreciation! Thank you for sharing ride safe always.
Hey Laura !! Thanks for the video ! Flies and more flies? Is that normal? looked like it was raining bugs! You are sure a very brave and determined Lass! As always be safe!
Canada is huge! So many miles (kilometers) alone on the road enjoying the remote nature! This is something we dream of here in the Netherlands.. too many people in a small country..cheers!
As always, very well done. I love your bucket list "check marks". Good for you for achieving your goals. And I'm still wanting to send you the Rok Straps! i just returned from a 3500 mile ride from SW Indiana to Utah. At age 73, I always wonder if it will be my last cross continent ride,.. but then maybe not.
A new video of Laura stacking up the kilometers on another day astride her trusty steed. Will it be another good one? Yes indeed it was, Laura. Your videos never disappoint.
I love how this video started. The music, the opening of the tent and the view of the road. The sky looked so cool in the view down the road. Peace from Connecticut , USA.
Hi from Cape Town, South Africa Laura, love your solitary rides ❤, very relaxing to watch. I notice that your riding jacket is a bit worse for wear your local Harley-Davidson dealership should gift you one especially since you promote their brand amongst younger riders.
Awesome video, I really enjoy seeing you enjoy your adventures. My wife and just had to give up long motorcycle trips this year. I'm sure your tired of people giving you advice but I'm old, I can't help myself. Just like the gloves please please ditch the slip on boots, if you can get a good pair of red wings or something similar that lace up. And keep it up with the adventures, it may not seem like it but we get old in a blink of an eye
I've never been to Alberta or the NW Territories but I assumed it was more mountainous. The drone shots show long, straight roads and flat terrain. Still pretty though.
Hi Laura, I have some more helpful thoughts. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just use it if you want to. For cleaning your windshield I us Pledge wood furniture cleaner but can also be use on many other surfaces. It has not patroleum in it and wont harm your plastic windshiel. I have use it for more years then I can say. Just a small bit on the corner of your cloth is all you need and you can get it at most grocery stores. I have it in my motorcycle as we speak and use it before I go riding. Your a great story teller and bing lots of happiness to all your followers.😊
You’re the only You tuber I put Notifications on. I always look forward to your Video’s. Glad to see you never let the flies or the weather scare you from checking off your bucket list. 😊
Wow, thank you for saying. I really appreciate that! I hope your summer has been going well. Are you still in Red Lake? I just recently painted the parking lot lines at the Howey. 😄
Omg, I’m kind of amazed you remembered. I was at the Howie and saw there were freshly painted lines and thought I wonder if Laura painted these. Not sure if I’ll be back there in my next rotation but I’ll be on the look out for you. I have a Tim’s card in my pocket in case I see you one day. Cheers!
I forget how crazy the bugs are up there, wow! As always, huge props to you for knocking out alll these awesome adventures and taking us along! How many miles (or KMs) has the Sporty got now?
Hi Laura another great video Thank you Amazing ride Amazing scenery enjoying your trip very much & yea lots of bugs Well take care for now Look forward to your next video Enjoy your Ride in the Wind always be safe out there 😎😎
Holy Moly those bugs and flies were intense!! Gorgeous scenery up there!! Did you get a drone recently? Loved those shots and footage from Birds Eye point of view! Safe travels and thank you for creating and sharing another awesome video!! 🤘😎🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
@lauradanielle1991 I purchased a small drone about a year ago. It has taken a lot of practice so far. Great job flying it and capturing the good footage! You did much better than I have lol 😆
Hi from UK love your vids what a superb Ride so jealous feel so restricted after watching such is our woo s stunning country if a little expensive, you'd ride safe
@@solo.roader Hey Laura, I just saw the posting from the guy talking to you about boots. I had the same boots for years but a couple of years ago upgraded to SIDI with a pair of high boots and lower ones. I use the lower ones most often, very protective and Gore Tex so waterproof. I think the model is Adventure 2 Gore Tex Mid Boots. Stiff at first like ski boots but they ware in to be pretty comfortable and real easy to get on and off (the high ones are a bit of a pain). They are expensive but I am sure your feet and ankles are worth it.
Another great video Laura, you skills are growing all the time. The scenery is so vast but how do you cope with the long straight roads, don't you find them boring or do you listen to music or a book while riding. The price for a motel is a bit high isn't it compared to camping and them flies, bet they hit like stones. ❤
Once I’m out of the prairies, I don’t mind straight stretches too much! I listen to music for maybe 35% of my trips. Then talk to myself for the other 65% 😳
Good stuff Laura. I would gladly buy you proper motorcycle gloves - those gardening gloves are dangerous as they will slide off your hands in a crash and provide little protection. But I like your gear, including the tattered rain jacket! LOL.
Gardening gloves?! That sure made me smile- I’m embarrassed now. 😂 I refer to them as “multi-purpose”. But you’re totally right, I should be wearing something better! I’ll make sure I am next trip. 😃

Great Slave Lake is like a small sea 🌊 What a terrific bucket list swim !
It is! And thank you. 😊
If your buckskin gloves could talk. what a story they would tell. 😊
Your theme music for this episode should have been... Come fly with me...by Frank Sinatra 😉 lol

A little FlexTape will fix those spots on your rain gear.
