@ Sam - I graduated way before you (85) but still even between generations, one thing that doesn't change is music that inspires us, music today and back then have gotten me through hard times. That's what makes music so beautiful is that it touches the heart and the soul.
Default came to Afghanistan to play for the Canadian troops a few months ago. They were incredible in concert and a great bunch of guy's to talk to as well.
Thank fuck i was shown this absolute gem of a band.... Pissed that i didn't know about them sooner. 25 years old and still learning about amazing shit like this...
madringking1119 are we thinking of the same game for the original Xbox cuz if so I think I actually own that game this sounds familiar and I played that game before
dude I remember listening to their record and feeling depressed about it, it seemed to have a depressing vibe all over. I enjoyed them though, wish they would have been bigger. They are underrated.
All I can remember is that this and “Wasting My Time” were the only two songs I would jam out too from Default. This was the Creed and Puddle of Mud days. Damn I had so damn good mixed CDs. The late 90s early 2000s was amazing for music and lots of other things
Cant give enough love to this song or the group or it's effect. Met "Default" in PC at this song's peak. Still cool during a worldwide hit. Gavin rossdale n Bush headlined n were even more gracious. Much love to both groups n this song
15 years later and I'm still listening and loving this song as much as I did when I first heard it - what a fantastic arrangement and progression. Why this band didn't reach epic-super-startdom is beyond me. They deserve so much more credit for making fantastic music than they ever did
I love this band, i saw them live as a surprise, they were opening for 3 days grace. but for me, default was the show. this guys voice is incredible. brings me back to when i was younger. more people should be watching and listening to this.
I saw these guys at Austin's in IL with Hinder and my Darkest Days--They were the first band up and they did better than both the other bands!!!!!! They rocked the house---they were awesome!!!!!

Agree totally!!! And I hear both have gotten their original lead singers back recently. Hoping for some new music from both bands. I love Default but Evans Blue is so under rated and just phenomenal in my book. Wishing them both the best...
They resided beside me and I could hear music playing. Loved it. Played my favourite game nhl and recognized and they played this song right in front of me in their garage !!! Older now the lyrics are surreal !! All Love default. Come back to Abby !!
Love this song!!! I haven't heard it for so long but I stumbled upon it and I'm happy that I did. This is one of my favorite song. They have to many good songs just to pick one.
These guys are incredibly awesome, live. I saw them open up for Bush back in the day. I also saw them open up for Nickelback. I left after their set, LOL.
In '02, I went to a NB concert and default opened for them. Chad came out when Dallas started singing, "there she goes and I'm on the ground." It was amazing hearing them sing it together. This was before youtube so its stuck in memory only.
this song literally pop in my head out of nowhere. Like, every day, the words are in my head but i didn't know what song it was until i googled in the lyrics lolol. i sing this when I'm anxious too.
Amazing, how one can go ages without listening to a song and remember word for word every single lyric once heard again.
I know right lol
And been nearly 20 years and I can still blare this song singing it word for word!
Can't remember most shit, but lyrics, right where you leave, & you right with em.
This band was on the radio constantly.
Trust me music is in the soul thats why its so unique
2024 and still listen to this banger
You know it!
2024 and still a killer tune 🤘
2023 and I still play The Fallout loud and proud. Fantastic CD💯
Played the entire album on my campus Rockbot playlist. School then started playing it at the Hockey Games. 😎
NHL 03 was definitely the best hockey game imo, and had some of the best music on it. This included.
yes, thats right! I played all the time with the mighty ducks!
@@elendil2raiden i remembar everything. Awesome memories. Mighty Ducks? Paul Kariya, Teemu Seelane and rest ;) ;p Fantasy was great.
Was that the one where u could create yr own team with cards and play online?
@@NUJAC1000 tbh i dont know. I didnt play online.
@@elendil2raiden leafs for me
Perfect song for not giving up in NHL 2003
And dropping the gloves to.

1987… here here 🤚
This song has such a killer intro.
Dallas Smith has such an amazing voice. Listen to it with headphones, you will get chills...Love you Dallas!
I Agree I’m a vocalist and This Guy Was just Amazing!!!
Probably 16 17 years ago I heard this first time and still agree then and now. Few from that era had that effect with their voice
Default came to Afghanistan to play for the Canadian troops a few months ago. They were incredible in concert and a great bunch of guy's to talk to as well.
Best alt rock sound to ever exist for a band
It's uncanny how a song can transport a person immediately back to a specific place and time.
Thank fuck i was shown this absolute gem of a band.... Pissed that i didn't know about them sooner. 25 years old and still learning about amazing shit like this...

Song still gives me goosebumps :D
Very underrated band
+lexrox5101 you're awesome :)
+Chris Mitchell thanks
Very
Extremely, as is the case with Canadian acts. I mean just look at the fact that 90% of Americans/the world have never heard of the hip
Thankfully I've heard of The Hip because I live near the Canadian border and I can hear a Canadian radio station. They're a great band.
This song transforms me into a warrior I listen to it before all my fights
Listen to my improvisation of this song. th-cam.com/video/4zxa-u0d9f8/w-d-xo.html I workout to this song too.
This song still rocks 20 years later, wish I would have been able to see them when the reunited a few years ago

“There she goes and I’m on the ground” the random lyrics poping in my head since I was in high school

Great soundtrack
I use to play the crap out of that game. Such a great game and such an amazing sound track for that game
This song is part of my lifetime soundtrack 😍
I absolutely LOVE & ENJOY Canadian rock bands!!! I really appreciate the smooth sounds of Default they were AWESOME!!!
I just remembered Default today and now I'm going to go re-buy their albums... frickin' love nostalgia in the form of music. :)
hell yes! It's been years since I have heard this. still know the words
why didn't they make it bigger than they did this whole album is great.
Because they lead singer went to country music. It's Dallas Smith
@@ryanfortin9166 he has a good country voice
I love his deep voice. It's so nice.
I’m still listening to these guys and definitely some of the best from Canada
love the song so much
dude I remember listening to their record and feeling depressed about it, it seemed to have a depressing vibe all over. I enjoyed them though, wish they would have been bigger. They are underrated.
this is when Muchmusic used to be good and plays music videos like this
Major nostalgia....thank God for TH-cam because they just play shit music on the radio now...

Why can’t music like this comeback

was rockin to this on my playlist while driving on the interstate yesterday. Still a GREAT song and an awesome band!!!! Thanks for the music Default!!
yeah this tune...was back from my 1st tour in Iraq...so powerful
I love this song so much, I started playing guitar just so I could play this song.
If you're 22-25 years old now and this wasn't one of your favorite songs in high school you had a bad childhood.
more like 25-30 years, im 26 the 90s were the best!!! as was early 00s
lmaoo
Ima WreckU I'm 30 and this was a classic hit.
Reginald Roc Johnson sameeeeeee
I hate these over dramatic "if you didn't love this one specific thing your childhood sucked" comments. Overused cliche that is not relatable.
First entire song I learned on guitar.
First song my band learned together!
Cant give enough love to this song or the group or it's effect. Met "Default" in PC at this song's peak. Still cool during a worldwide hit. Gavin rossdale n Bush headlined n were even more gracious. Much love to both groups n this song
