Neil! You never disappoint mate, what an awesome little project. Love it, I'm gonna try it out on my my hultafors craft knife. Thanks, loving the series
Poor mans kydex ! I did this for my martindale golok, i found a bit of black downpipe in a skip. You dont need a heat gun, you can use the oven, plenty of room from the element.
That makes a really nice job mate, well done. I don't think I've ever seen Brown PVC here, I'm wondering if the white stuff would take a coat of paint. I'll give it a try with my Mora
Im likeing this not sure of the pvc though is it just the stuff for water pipeing? Id really like to come up with a good secure sheath for the finn as i yend to carry it on my weekend warrior jaunts over most of my other blades ,that sheath would be real fine if it had a ferro rod loop of some sort imo .
You are a genuine artisan! Great job, very well done!
PVC PolyPipe weld glue you need...oh and a drain hole at the bottom ,as it is its a water trap., good idea all the same
Thank you Neill for another great video 😊 and well done Hazel 👏 looking forward to the next video 👍
Very cool sheath Neil!!
Well done our Hazel! Good bit of weather doesn't keep us down hey!😊
Just have to say thank you for this idea, a very professional finish that looks good.

Awesome option. bought this knife for my Son and we wanted to make a different Sheath
Fantastic 👍
You could also use strips of plastic bottle cut into strips like birch bark and weave
Brilliant
Very nifty Neil.
Very nice👍
Well, I know what I'm doing with the grandkids this weekend 😁
hey thats cool , i new about kydex but would have never thought of using gutter pvc
I guess that as you said it may wear loose over time, all you'd need to do is re-heat the PVC and clamp it again. Good idea 👍

I think a good idea for a video is a tutorial for a paracord weaved sheath or belt.
