The fact Renoir and Verso each are speaking part of a same line (Renoir speaks the first half, Verso the second half) and each have a scar on a different eye is intriguing. Renoir is really suspicious for several reasons. He is much older than the number painted and should not exist anymore. Renoir also share the same name as the very famous french painter 'Pierre-Auguste Renoir' during the Belle époque of France.
Yeah Renoir is super sus, and the scars being on opposite eyes is intriguing in itself. Can't wait to get another trailer so we have a bit more to speculate on with him.
There have been some fantastic AA JRPGs but this is the most excited I've been for one since FFXIII trilogy. True AAA treatment & fantastic looking combat & depth. Can't wait. Hope it's good enough to become a series. Crossing my fingers.
Yes, that was an awful pun, but you know me: sometimes you Dust have to go with it. And if it doesn't work out? Well, all thing Dust pass. On the subject of Verso, I suspect that he and Gustave are inevitably heading toward something of a Dust-up. Perhaps our party will be the one to give Verso his Dust deserts; or, if Verso truly does have an empathetic backstory, maybe we can save him. As a wise man once said, the darkest hour is always Dust before the dawn. Renoir is even more suspect than Maelle, and he totally has an "I Have No Mouth, and I Dust Scream" air about him. Seeing him in that Edge of Creation space, so far from home and in clean, untarnished clothing, leads me to believe that he's arrived Dust in time to cause trouble. Yet I suppose that I can't blame him for trying to save his family. Needs Dust, and all that. Well, while I think it's Dust about time to end this comment, I think we can all agree that the show Dust go on. Here's to looking forward to the next trailer, the combat, and the breakdown! I Dust can't get enough of Expedition 33, and you make excellent videos about it. We adore you Dust the way you are, Sector.
im very much looking forward for this game, even from the little we know story already gets me hyped. I remember FF10 devs were saying that early game concept was that in Spira ppl at certain age died(disappeared?) and they planned that our party was on expedition to end it. But later they changed that concept to Sin and what we get in FFX. young girl says the monster felt somehow familiar- Paintress changes people to those weird creatures at certain age?
Do we know if the Paintress is counting down in order? It could be random. That could explain why Renoir is alive. Also, i don't think it's been revealed if you technically have to be the same age to actually go on these expeditions.
@@Razzledazzle1234567 It has been confirmed that the number painted is indeed getting down in order, the composer also specified it's not possible for a character to avoid death by getting older than the current number painted before the paintress awake once more and paint the next number (so there's definitely something important about Renoir, he is much older than the number currently painted).

Yay
How the hell is Renoir alive if the paintress is all the way down to 33?
