You have really succeeded in creating a lovely piece combined with slow smooth photography and pleasant soundtrack. The historical info in great! Your production is top notch.
I see families coming together hunter gathering planting. Having fun. Homestyle living so gracious that they had to draw on a rock. Must've been bliss. For being so blessed. Thanks for sharing.
I just wrote this to someone else, I noticed when we/anyone wraps a blanket or large shawl around them- we/they look triangular! Try it...the broader the shoulders- the more triangular U look... Indians always wrapped themselves in blankets...😂😂
Alex, thank you for taking me to places that I will not personally see. I am just reading my first book on the ancient peoples of the Southwest and I am fascinated. I will certainly come to your channel to learn so much more.
LOVED route 279 with its cliffs, riverside road, occasional climbers, campsites, and of course, the glyphs. We had no map for features, so missed most of them. Thanks for filming this quiet side road outside of noisy Moab. I suppose we should go back!
Hello Chris, thanks for your kind words. Presently, I am in Quebec-Canada and look forward to returning to the USA this spring and to resume filming and trekking.................alex
Hello Tuledude, thanks for watching and comment. It is Interesting as to how large the bear is represented adjacent to the hunters. Ten thousand years previously in Utah they had a now extinct, very large bear known as the "short faced bear". However, the hunters in the petroglyph panel had bows and arrows which were introduced into Utah about 1,500 years ago. So, this panel has two possibilities. The first is that the hunting scene is a representation of an old legend about the giant short faced bear. Or, it is a representation of a hunting scene that occurred around more recently, maybe a thousand years ago............alex
Recently I was on Pine Mountain near the Sespe river and found a bedrock mortar on top of a boulder on the side of the road just past the campground. It had a fantastic view of the Channel Islands. It was a kitchen with a view being that the elevation is over 7,000’ within a pine belt of Ponderosa, sugar pine and white fir.
Hello, Alex. Great panels. And what a fantastic place with the river and all. I love the hunting scene, with the bear in focus. Great Job with the video once again. Thanks for sharing!!
Excellent Alex! Flawless production! I was eagerly waiting for your next video. Thanks for sharing where we can see this in Utah! My concern is that, over time, these petros may start collecting smoke from the passing vehicles and darken. The highway should have been built farther away IMHO.
BLINK! my god man... your editing skills in every video looks like you don't blink. it's disturbing. beyond that. Very enlightening knowledge. I enjoy your content.
Lol, now you've got me watching for a blink too!! He did blink today though, can't remember which part- I think when he spoke the 2nd time- right at the start of talking... 😂😂😂
@@storiesbyalex We, years ago were astounded by the Newspaper Rock area and found many very secluded petroglyphs in that area. Love your passion for sharing these wonders!
Hello, I get so excited to see a new video from you, Sir. I currently live in Durango and being in Rotary International Club I'd live to offer you a place to stay in your travels, if needed, if not I'd love to meet for lunch or coffee one day. I have this weekend off and would also love to help you on a filming adventure somehow. Let's get in touch as I'd also ask if you could give a speech on your travels at our local Rotary Club Meeting, Wednesdays at 7:00-8:00 a.m. Thank you for everything you do, Sir
Hello Wes, thank you for watching and your kind words. I am going to have to pass on your invite as I reside in California. However, if I am in your neck of the woods in the future I will certainly contact you. My regards - Alex
As someone whose main hobby is wild edible plants, [[ for about 60 years ]] I've thought the same thing. I have seen edible and useful plants that seemed to be encouraged to grow in or near village sites. Some of these plants are cactus, { with edible fruits and pads } tobacco, tomatillo or Ground cherries, datura, and service berry, to name a few. I have read that in the upper mid - west and the northeast, finding stands of wild Jerusalem Artichoke has sometimes assisted those who were searching for ancient village sites that were not shown on any map.
Ooh, another spaceman with a nice helmet. I've always been interested in these ancient inscriptions, and sometimes I make light of them, but I'm serious in trying to figure out what some of the more esoteric ones mean, which is why I commented the way I did initially here. There are other petroglyphs that show even more clearly what could be interpreted as spacemen, such as those who went to the moon with their glass/plastic/whatever helmets that you could see through. Some even have antennas like My Favorite Martian did. One never really knows, do we, since none of us were there at the times of the inscriptions?
cwb0051, thanks for watching and your comment. I enjoy trying to pair music to the sites we visit to try to evoke an emotion which might draw us closer to our exploration........alex
This is not really any hunting scenes, this are magnetic circuits. Magnetism has toroidal field geometry and hyperbolic inverse geometry, the force of motion is 3d S-curve. All lines and creatures are composed by one or more so called lines of force. This is how magnetism is distributed. Every element is depicted from certain perspective. It represents unwrapped 3D projection of Magneto dielectric field. They have precisely understood the true nature of the universe. Literally almost all your videos shows each single element existing in magnetic physics. Not only the figures but whole natural patterns of the rock and its cracks are part of it. This is technology not primitive art. Magnetism of the stone is in equilibrium, what they did is like if we would etch electric circuit. The changes in temperature and geomagnetism itself was powering the circuits. You can use different spacial points to harvest gaussian flux or at the plain of inertia there is electricity (looks like the broken number 8). If you understand magnetism then you can use it for everything. Search for Ferrocell device on TH-cam , after you have seen few demonstrations I would recommend you the channel called Theoria Apophasis. This guy has opened my eyes on magnetism. He is really pain to absorb. I have spend almost year to understand and recognize the phenomena. After that it is like enlightenment . Then you start to understand how screwed humanity is. There is not a single person who understand what he is looking at. The same lack of understanding we do have in Egypt, Summer and believe or not I can see the same principles until world war 1. The architecture follows same rules. Something is not right with our history. It seems to be common knowledge for millennia. Today you only hear same shit, like this is a hunting scene and this is the work of primitive man. This is not some kind of reality or artistic painting. This is very complex it looks only primitive to primitives. Nature do not know straight lines. This is organic technology not like the crap we have today.
I've watched your series now a couple of times. Never gets old. Thank You for your research. 😊

Looked like a lot of those figures were wearing earrings and ceremonial hats of some kind.
That 'squatter man' image with the triangle shape is a global petroglyph. Is the Fremont Culture global?
