I purchased one of these based on your review and it looks like it might replace my old BK Precision Test Bench multi-meter in form and function. Thanks!

It looks like the probes have covers on them that should pull off to give you more exposed probing power.

WOW, that meter is really packed with features and it's CE marked too. The CE mark indicates that high safety, health and environmental protection standards have been met for the European market. .. and all that for $46 that's awesome.

Hello, I would like to ask, I am making a PCBs and I am interested if it is possible to use this multimeter to measure capacitors from 100 pF to micro, resistances from 1K to 1M and if this multimeter will not destroy my board where all the components are very sensitive, for example SHTC sensor max 1.8V.
Overall, I'm wondering if it's possible to use this multimeter on smt PCB, it doesn't have to be that accurat. Thank you.

Any idea how long the batteries will last in the device? Even when not used?

it looks like Habotest HT-116. is it one manufacturer?

Looks really good and packed with features, looks like a smartphone. Thanks for sharing. Does it do antenna analyzing?

Looks like a practical little multimeter you've got there Paul but one thing strikes me while watching your review: Doesn't it have any kind of stand so it doesn't need to lay flat on the bench?
Another thing, how are the probe lead quality? Soft like silicone or typical low-priced Chinese PVC-clad wires that become stiff as raw spaghetti in anything below room temperature? (tried putting them in the refrigerator for a few hours and then the freezer and see how they become?)
If this is as useful as it looks (actually measures capacitance to a usable precision) I might just buy a pair of these to test. By the way, how long time does it take to measure a 'typical' capacitor? Varies with the capacitance I would expect but say for example a 4.7nF ceramic and a 4700 uF electrolytic? 🤔
What I will miss is inductance measurement - but you can't get everything in a cheap device I guess... 😉

Hi Michael. Yes, cheap is cheap and you can't wait miracles. Most of devices I do reviews are in the low price range, because I believe the price friendly device is more available for most of my watchers. That's the reason. Yes, the stand is missing also to me. Pity they didn't designed it too. It would be practical. The wires are soft and good to use I think 😉 Best 73! 👋
