    Hi
My mother went through knee replacement on both knees 1 month before but right knee is not able to reach zero degree.
Is it normal? What is threshold to start aggressive physiotherapy like you suggested in this video?

@hiteshchaudhary0 sorry to hear this about your Mom. Those are good questions. It is not normal for the knee replacement not to get back to zero again although I see it especially if the knee was not straight to begin with. I aim to get zero asap (in the first 1-2 weeks). If the knee feels stiff, I progressively do more aggressive stretching in terms of the force I use to stretch. I also use heat on the hamstrings. And I tell my patients to stretch as often and as hard as they can at home (I tell them 100x a day but it is more of a figure of speech to get the point across.) Hope this helps.

      Thank you for reply.
Can it be recovered now or she have to go through knee replacement again?
Have you seen such cases recover with physiotherapy.

I have an ACL + Mencius surgery 1 year a go, but I still can’t get an hypertension. My knee is 100% no more pain.

I'm sorry to hear this @chanthymanyroath. I see this a number of times with patients. I suggest progress the prone hangs with weight on the ankle area starting with light then going to heavier around 10 lbs. Also try using heat on the hamstring area to soften it up. Also combine the prone hang with hamstring stretch. I hope this helps.🙏
