  • Welcome to my Norway series! 🇳🇴
Oslo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From a cup of coffee to its hotel prices, it’s safe to say a trip to Oslo hurts the bank account a little.
Despite this, it’s actually one of the best cities in the world to visit as a solo traveller so on today’s video I’ve set myself the goal of exploring Oslo on a budget.
Is it actually possible to explore one of the world’s most expensive cities on a budget? Let’s find out…

The cheapest breakfast will be at Backstube at central station. It is quiet cheap bakery and the food is good. Espresso house is quiet expensive.

Rhe cheapest breakfast would be to go to a grocers and get a breadroll and a topping, I know a lot of places around the city centre sell portion size jam or the local version of nutella. You can't say you're on a budget and biy a croissant that is mainly air.

Can you please show less of your own face and more of the surrounding instead ? Your face is pretty, but by filming mostly what is around you will give your viewers much more information about the city. Is not this your goal, to provide people with more useful info ?

When visiting the Henia-Onstad museum you should not visit the fascinating story.of Sonia Henie, the Norwegian figure skater thar after a lot of olympic medals became a film star in Hollywood .in the 30s. A section of the museum is about her including her medals and a showing of her movies.😮

Norway excels in a lot of summer sports, not just winter sports. We have some great summer athletes too. So no, not only winter sports. Rugby just have never been very popular here.

It's probably a misconception. Oslo is no longer the most expensive city anywhere. Switz has always been more expensive. Travel to Paris and Oslo prices increase by 30-40% or Barcelona, Madrid, Brussels. Haag

Actually. You can live for free. No one anywhere in Norway in winter let people sleep outside.

    Oslo looks really beautiful.
It was interesting to see you explore the city on a budget.
The museum with the balls and the mirrors looks so cool. A nice way to get warm.
The Oslo pass sounds like a good idea if you are going to see multiple attractions.
The street food market looks like a great choice for dinner xx

Nice video :) good to know about the pass (although i was suprised at the price when i saw it, will have to weigh that one up) but the food markets seem a great idea and certainly cheaper than restaurants so will definitely keep that in mind 🙂

@@OneGlobe360Oh, you should try Copenhagen and Zūrich if you want expencive. And you made the most expensive choices at 7-11. I have lived in London which isn’t cheap either. A sub with beverage is £3.25 at BigBite.(Norway). You should get your facts right before claiming that Oslo is the most expensive city in Europe. I can prove that it is not!

I'd rather have a diverse world with unqiue cuisines preserved in each country.
