    If the first minister and her husband can be investigated by the police then I suggest that no constable or senior officer is above the scrutiny of the public.
    Hold them accountable, Police Scotland do not comply with the laws of Scotland.

    To the copper driving the van, theirs also a lot of bad copers within the police, who film the public and HAVE access to the DVLA database, unlike members of the public.

      It was important enough for them to stop and ask questions, but not important enough to get out of their vehicle to do so. Why do so many people find it hard to believe that so many Stasi Scotland are bone idle.

    Stasi Scotland again interpreting the law to suit themselves. These cops are REQUIRED to know any law they are attempting to enforce or if they do know that there is no law prohibiting filming private cars of Police staff, then they are simply lying or are ignorant of basic law. Subscribed.

    Filming staff personal vehicles is NOT Illegal and if that is the case then it is Legal and there is nothing they can do. They always come out with that but apart from checking MOT and Tax there is no further information you can get. Even private plates DVLA own and can rescind them without notice. They film our plates every day so next time they say don't film staff cars tell them to do one, it is not Illegal.

    • @dr_dr
      @dr_dr ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep, just to throw one that the Police and Police sycophants use back at them "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear!". "Respecting" their requests not to film their personal cars is effectively helping them to elevate themselves to a special status above ordinary citizens which they do not, and should not have. Their security is no more important than yours or mine, but even though their job is to keep you safe, their priority is always for their own security and stuff you.

    • @louise6395
      @louise6395 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do feel uneasy about staff private vehicles being shown.. only takes one fruitcake to spot an arresting officers car being driven with make model and number plate on show and follow them.home one day and firebomb the house with thier family inside of it..
      For I would be cautious about anyone filming outside of a police station. Out front fine.. but staff cars? Not so sure about that..

      My auntie would have been my uncle but for……………
      If your scenario were real the filming of the car is irrelevant, they would just follow the constable home.
      I suggest a good dose of reality is required and living in fear is exactly what tyrants and tyranical governments want for the population.

    "Constable, I am photographing private car registrations that I will later check on the Gov.UK website to verify they have all paid Road Tax (VED) and have a current MOT. I would consider any attempt by a Police Constable to prevent me doing so as a criminal attempt by that Constable to inhibit a lawful activity with the clear intention of hiding the potential law-breaking of a fellow Constable. This would be an attempt to tamper with evidence of an offence and an attempt to pervert the course of justice, for which I would follow up appropriately with the Chief Constable, the PF, official complaints and a civil case".

    So filming and collecting number plates is legal however if someone had reason to suspect that you were carrying out acts that could put at risk public safety and the integrity of the lands ability to protect its self from terrorism then it’s in the interest of the people that your stopped doing that. Terrorism can be planned over a long period of time using online reconnaissance and planning and social engineering. Disclosing and collecting registration plates of the people that respond to terrorist incidents could affect the way this country can protect itself in an emergency using the information and videos you have provided.
    The current threat status to this country from terrorism detailed on the MI5 website is substantial meaning an attack is likely. alongside the threat to police and security services which have a different threat level which is usually higher than the countries it’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure our country isn’t attacked.
    Furthermore it would appear that you have been misinformed about “anything I can see from a public footpath. I can record”
    I’d like to let you know of some things that may get you in a lot of bother doing this
    if you can see into a public toilet from a footpath or record in a public toilet that the public has access to you could be charged with voyeurism .
    If you equally film into someone’s window / an office window without knowing what was inside that room you could inadvertently be recording someone whilst they do a private act like changing or doing the toilet this could also count as voyeurism especially when it’s reasonable to expect a level of privacy in those areas.
    If you decide to do the above to a child or minor under the age of 18 it could be counted as making indecent images of children.
    If you are purposely recording kids peeing at the side of the road like you say you’re entitled to do then you’ll also likely be arrested for the same.
    If you record children playing in a park children in general children at a school it may very well be legal but the implication of you being recorded yourself and being plastered over local Facebook groups as a pedophile would be devastating for you and your family.
    Look after yourself and look after our country please
