Some things I learned from this play through: -Luke's saber is really red, Vaders is green -Vader uses a Fkn GUN -it was Vader who fell down the shaft at the end, not luke -Yoda didn't try to stop Luke from leaving, in fact he encouraged it But most importantly...I learned that the lightsaber is the weapon of the Jedi. Thanks for interrupting the game to tell me that. (Might as well tell me cows go mooo 😁)

Man, this game is uh. Quite unfinished from the presentation alone, much less "bosses" that just kinda stand there in one spot while you can pot shot them. Also. Y'know. Vader using a gun. And a green saber. These early games might have struggled with Luke's saber as much as A New Hope did in filming said sabers, but like come on man. Also how the fuck did they get the wrong saber color for Vader in the *FINAL* level but his nightmare on Dagobah has the red saber? And the cutscene with Luke seeing him...with surprisingly *amazing* audio sampling has BOTH OF THEM WITH RED SABERS. WAIT A MINUTE, VADER'S SABER WAS BLUE *AND* GREEN, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE???
In the first level there is a lot of blue in the background, I wonder if it contrasted and decided to do red to keep it in since they didn't want to confuse people anymore by changing it in other levels, but I swear my memory tells me it was blue, weird.

On the SNES it was so hard to play. But very good. Was my first game where i must purchase a adapter to play the US-Version on my PAL-SNES.

I've long maintained that the movie would've been considerably improved had we only seen an AT-ST in Echo Base.

Very crude game. But now i wanna play Super Star Wars again. Those games are on fire!
The music is so annoying. It just playing in short, repetitive bursts, and often cuts off.
For me, the only real Star Wars game during 8-bit/16-bit era.
Other ones have extremely changed from the movies.
So Luke blows up Slave 1 (never happened) then Han is miraculously rescued (also never happened) despite just being blown up...oh dear.

Give another chance to this game today. It still awful, no way.
