I am re-watching the entire series and so far watched 20 episodes, there wasn't a single one that didn't make me cry tears of sorrow and joy. Michael Landon had the magic touch and a beautiful, gentle soul. He is still, after 30 years touching our hearts and makes us to be better people. No wonder my grandmother loved Little Joe so much. RIP Michael. Will always love you.

During the years this show was broadcast I worked a split shift, took care of my sick and dieing parents and as a single mother my only son who ended up passing away from cancer in 1999. I only on occasion had the opportunity to enjoy this fabulous show. It's 2021 now and Michael and Victor have been gone for many years. Thanks to the preservation of the film I have been fortunate to be able to watch these on my cell phone. An invention that was only a Dick Tracy oddity back then. Before every home had a personal computer, WiFi or routers. Before television became a laughing stock. Programmers today wouldn't dream of a concept for a program that alluded to God or produced uplifting and decent characters. So after turning my TV off over twenty years ago, it is wonderful to have a quality of entertainment surpassed by none. I'm 71, my health is iffy. My time here isn't as much ahead of me as it is behind me. I am thankful to have lived at a time when our country loved our parents and dedicated our lives to family, but most of all during a time when our country worshipped the living God and we accepted Jesus as our Savior. My heart breaks for what I see happening to this country's moral fiber. If I could, I would thank Mr. Michael Landon and Mr. Victor French for their dedication to excellent entertainment. I thank TH-cam for not cancelling this series and hope one day they will right the wrongs they have done.
You will be able the thank Mr. Landon and Mr. French when God allows. I'll meet you there! God bless you.

Same HERE GOT rid of my tv AND everything years ago AND have a radio and cell phone found THIS show and watch every episode i did THIS because my wife passed three years ago besides being NOT happy at ALL im happy NOT having tv AND ALL the other bullshit THANKS for the cell phone i was WITH my girl FOR 47 yrs since we were 15 years old 1972 to 2019 she LEFT at 62 years old FROM COPD this show has helped ME very WE'LL Greetings from Brooklyn NY
@@jackieguccione94 what a wonderful, beautiful story. In 1972 I was enjoying my one year old son. He passed away basically from a rare form of thyroid cancer in 1999. I gave up tv because every show had someone fighting for their lives in a hospital and I couldn't take the constant reminders.

A Diogenes moment right there. Another fantastic and touching episode! Laughed out loud several times no matter how heart breaking it was. Michael Landon may not be with us, be he is still touching souls and changing people's hearts and lives!! May he RIP.

I saw all of him, if he lived in the Netherlands i would have tryed to visit him. Perhaps stalked him.( not really)😁

And even though he was far from faultless, he is still one of God's Angels.

Michael has indeed left us all a beautiful Legacy. Faith in God our Heavenly Father, in His Son Jesus Christ and in His Holy Spirit, and in the power and authority of His Holy Priesthood restored again upon the earth.
I love this TV show, it gives us good example of how to love and respect each other no matter how rich or poor u are.
This needed a part 2. Showing the mayor helping the homeless and hungry and making other improvements in the city. Also Willie coming back as an angel. " BE NICE'--- WILLIE
The GREAT Ned Beatty!!!
I gave $5 to a homeless guy at the Unocal 76 gas station on the corner of Bronson & Hollywood in Hollywood a few months back. He was so appreciative and told me that people usually treat him like he has a disease. That could have bought that mans meal for the day.....It felt so good to give.....but to give...without expecting to receive. Every human has the right to a meal, IMO

I give when I can. I’m always told that I should t because they will waste it on booze. Etc. I give anyway. I don’t know for sure they will do that and I would rather give to someone who will waste it as opposed to turn away someone who will need it. It’s not like I’m giving away thousands of dollars. Although I probably would if I could afford it
Just take them out for a meal instead of giving money, then you know for sure they eating and spending it on booze.

One of the times I’ve ever cried so much at one time was watching this.

Another one of my favorite episodes. So much so, that I can tell this was edited. There is a part where Willy is at the limo and asks where he should go, and there is another scene where Mr. Rich tries to buy a razor and shaving cream and gets thrown out of the store.

U never walked in that man's shoes nor saw things through his eyes or stood and watched with helpless hands while the heart inside u dies. I work with the homeless, there's a lot of things they do that makes sense after you walk a mile in there shoe's, the homeless world and the others are not the same ,these people are not crazy trust me on this

Actually the majority of Americans are Christians. It's perfectly legal and common to talk about religious beliefs, people just don't want you to be preaching at them all day and forcing your beliefs when they aren't interested. This persecution complex is tiresome.
