It took an impressively short amount of time to see the ratio of “this show is awful and how dare Taylor Tomlinson be sentenced to such trash” to “this show is the best new thing and segment clips aren’t enough” just switch sides of the colon…
Partly it’s that many people in the first group aren’t bothering to watch these clips anymore now that they know what the show is.
I feel like Kel is the first person to come on this show and REALLY embrace the vibe.
Melissa is just precious. I got to meet Kel a few years ago too and he's such a kind person. Loved Thomas in Reno 911. Great lineup!

@@johnsondunn Not this time. This one is produced by Stephen Colbert and his people. It does have the original showrunner still attached though. I recall reading somewhere that they brought it to Colbert specifically so he'd have some skin in the game and use his show to help promote After Midnight to give it a better shot at success.

Yeah the first ep was rough (understandable) but as expected Taylor got more comfortable as the host and they've been getting comedians who seem comfortable with the "panel show" format.
Well it can only go up based on how bad it is.

@@michaels9595 It's kind of an overall thing, not really related to the comics.
All the principals on the show (Taylor, the director, the editors etc) are still trying to find their footing, and as a result the pacing felt off. But you can see in the later episodes that people are more in sync, and everything flows just a little bit better.

I was so looking forward to this lineup, but somehow it just fell a bit short for me. Perhaps it was just the editing because I know all of them could be absolutely hilarious. In any case though Melissa was undoubtedly the star of this episode.

eggs cooked over easy. its when you fry an egg on both sides compared to sunny side up where its only done on one side.
Eggs over easy = fried eggs, flipped & cooked on the other side for a short time. So all the white gets cooked but the yolk remains partly runny. S'nice.
