    Please do a video on brakes. I've only had my Radrover 5 for a few months and have adjusted the brakes many times. I'd like to know what is going on with that. I'd also like to know how many miles I should get on my brake pads. I live in a hilly area.

      Adjusting the brakes a lot is sort of just the name of the game for mechanical disc brakes. Esp when the bike is new, the cable tends to stretch a bit over your first few hundred miles. The inside brake pad often needs to be adjusted after this period as well

    • @MrTwistydave

      @@zacharyfevold9610 right on. It doesn't take long to need to adjust. Just part of the game. Takes longer to put gas in the car...:)

    0:34 - Good video, but even David asked to see if there were problems with the sound. You can see all the comments in the live feed saying the sound is "hot" and "distorted." For future livestreams, please crank down the audio gain so it's not overdriven and distorted. Very hard to pay attention to.

    Ive got just under 50 miles on my radmini and ive had many bicycles growing up and have a concern that the tire tread depth is real low. This is very helpful stuff. Thank you. I am getting a lot of clipping and distortion on the audio, though. Not sure if that’s TH-cam compression or if the microphone itself was clipping or what. I’m not trying to be an audio snob and don’t need super high end audio quality, but the clipping/distortion does hurt my ears (I stream audio into my hearing aids) and I had to stop watching after a couple of minutes. Not trying to be mean or anything. Just letting you know.
    The levels are really high. Maybe you could reduce volume on the source material and reupload? I don’t know if that would help or not.

    Hunter. I have 2021 RadCity Step thru 3. Is it true that the tires have a bullet proof liner between tube and outer tire?
    If so I don’t really want to put Slime in my tires. Your opinion on Slime? If there’s no additional liner in tire.

    • @RadPowerElectricBikes

      Hey Rick! The RadCity Step-Thru 3 will feature an additional layer of puncture protection. This will help prevent most punctures out there. Some of our customers use slime if they have a lot of thorns in their area, but you often don't need it.

      @RadPowerElectricBikes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Richard, the motor output in an electric bike is determined by the motor controller. When we state that we offer a 750 watt motor, that means our motor is rated for 750 watts continuous, ran at 750 watts continuous, and warrantied at 750 watts continuous by Rad Power Bikes. The wider core Bafang motor that has been brought up in many videos/threads came out after we had released the RadRover in 2015. It may be more appropriate for folks going into the high peak wattage category (1,000+ watts) but in our opinion is not right for our bikes.
