A very enjoyable video. Loved that you shared your thought process on colour choice and tips on using the grip mat. Perfect amount of sequins for your shaker window. 👌🏼🧡💜
I love that paw print shaker card. I'm SO burned out on shaker cards but that paw print just looks like it's made to be a shaker!!! Perfect! What a fun card!
Amanda, what a great presentation and explanation of both the products used and your thought process. That card is so beautiful and I love the color scheme. Can’t wait to receive my Waffle Flower mats
It's not a gel press! But it totally looks like one! The material is different, gel presses are more squishy where is grip mat feels more like a clear stamp and has less give to it. Grip mats are intended to be used to hold cardstock down while ink blending and all that, so it's a bit different from a gel press! Hope that helps :)
Hi Robyn! I'm in Renton, too! I really like Bearly Arts liquid glue in a Gina K fine tip bottle! I have a list of supplies I used on these cards at the bottom of my blog post here: www.craftydaydreams.com/blog/lets-talk-grip-mats 😊
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that, Laura! The only time I came across trouble getting paper to stick to a grip mat was if the back of it was textured from running it through my die cut machine with a texture die. When I clean mine, so far I've only spritzed it with water, then wiped it dry with a microfiber cloth. Maybe reach out to Waffle Flower and see if they have any tips for you! 💗
Love both cards, Amanda! The colors on the first one are gorgeous and what a fun shaker! thank you for sharing your inspiration!
Thank you so much, Tanya! 🥰

Is that a gel press, that you call a grip mat? Or is a grip map something totally different?

I bought it was really disappointed it only held the first time & even after cleaning it it wouldn't hold my paper
