This is sick. I’ve been considering buying one of these but am disillusioned with teenage engineering as a company. Not very happy with my op-1 and multiple pocket operators. Do you feel like this was a worth it purchase? Do you have any how to content for the k.o. 2?
I was struck at first by the limitations, but where it shines is its ability to step out of the way and allow for quick creativity. Sampling into it is very fast and it does a good job finding the top of the sample and cleaning it up. In some ways it feels like I'm close to the circuitry as if it's a very simple calculator. But it has a nice "tone", and sometimes it's surprisingly smart. Still marketed as an expensive "toy", but very usable in my opinion. Not to be compared with a Roland SP-404, it's like a more usable pocket operator.
Def an adult swim soundtrack lol or lowkey an adventure time theme song instrumental 😅
