This is the coolest stove I have ever seen. I'd buy one. I'm interested in seeing the pellet hopper a little more. Perhaps you could give us a tour while it's not lit so you can open it up.
Great looking stove, would it be possible to make the sides of the triangular burn chamber out of glass so that the flame could be seen from the side as well?
@davewilliams6172 that would look real cool, yeah sure it would be the only downside would be more glass to clean. This stove is just sitting about .unfortunately the price of wood pellets has almost doubled here in newzealand, even though they are made locally. This beast uses twice the amount than my other stoves, so yeah it will be sitting around for a while to come.
I have been looking for a stove like this for fall and winter camping. What is the burn time with a full hopper of pellets? Are you able to throttle the stove down? Any chance you would sell or share the plans?
Thanks, yeah with this one ,the ashes fall to the bottom of the triangle. It burns off most ash, the pellets I use have very little ash and the secondary combustion burns off almost everything.after a 2 hr burn there was maybe two tablespoons of ash,I just take off the front glass and scoop it out
Yes ! that's the type of comment I need to show my potential sponsors lol. Yeah but seriously, ta though. I have lots of pre order inquiries. I am in final testing of the new stove need to make sure all the flaws are iorned out. I needed to design a new model to be Slightly lighter and smaller, because most pre orders are in America , im in nz.
its look good, but that desing not good for everyone. Because you need good vacuum at ex pipe. Otherwise, there is a possibility of excessive smoking when first ignited. Not everyone's chimney is the same. I have been a stove maker for 20 years and the thing a customer does not want is a stove that is difficult to ignite and smokes...
I have not tested properly the burn time on this one, it definitely seems to be around twice the consumption of my other models. So around 6 minutes per cup. Next triangle stove I make will be half this size its just to big
Thankyou, it's hard to say what that one would worth ,I would need to do a time and motion study on the next one I make,I would hope to be competitive with other stoves. Early days but I will release plans once I get it running safely .
Cheers for that, the torch works best but you can use paper. It just reaches temperature faster with the torch, though recently I have been using a full length flue with that the draw is so good you definitely don't need a torch
Awesome stove man! Couple questions - Could you use that in a sauna? And what pellets do you use for it? Love your videos. I'm learning to weld to try and make something like this for my home/shed! Cheers
Terrible idea. As awesome as this design may be, a sauna is a closed space. This oven is nowhere near gas-tight (and it needs not be, in a teepee), so using it in a sauna means you will die from CO. Which is awesome because you can't smell CO and when you show symptoms, you are already so much intoxicated that even if you manage to remain conscious long enough to get out, you will still die. Don't do such a thing, anything "fire" that goes together with yourself in a small room must be guaranteed to be gas-tight. The welds might be good, but the glass pane is removable, so it's guaranteed not to be gas-tight.
@@rocketstove007 Yea that is unique, do you have a hand held laser temp detector? That stove would come in handy up here in New Hampshire USA. I've always known pellets burn more efficient and hotter than plain old log fire place. More efficient, cheaper than fire wood. Awesome job, just loooooove the huge triangle view window.
@MrDhalli6500 I would love a hand held laser temp thingy. Currently I can't afford jack. I had a misguided belief that once I became monetized I would be able to afford some toys to help grow the channel it might happen but yeah I definitely need to start actually making some forsale
would love to see the build / plans / drawings, looks amazing, well done!!!
Same! I have been looking for a stove like this for winter camping!
Great looking stove

We would I purchase a tee pee like this?
Love this stove.

Olá, boa noite! Você venderia o projeto para construção dum fogão desse?
Hi , I would sell tue plans but that's just a prototype it has a few flaws that needs fixing.

Amazing stove! One half that size would be perfect for me
Thats cool looking. One question.. where do you clean the ashes out at?

I love this one.. great work
Coolest one I've seen yet good job AriOna USA
Cheers dude, I might have to move to the USA ,seems to like my stoves the most lol
coolest looking one ive seen, i can only imagine a box batch version...
Genius mate! You are definitely on to something people will pay for. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves.

Пламя напоминает водопад 👍😊
What's the amount of pellets used in the hopper? How long was the burn? Is there a throttle to the temperature and burn time?

Great work man. How much would you sell then for? Or even how much for the plans.
Thankyou, it's hard to say what that one would worth ,I would need to do a time and motion study on the next one I make,I would hope to be competitive with other stoves. Early days but I will release plans once I get it running safely .
Looks impressive, but it seems you need a torch to light it

Clever design. I'd like something like this only a wood burner instead of pellets.
These are awesome stoves, you do need to preheat that secondary air though and the glass will stay a lot cleaner...
Very cool! Is there a way I can venmo you money for the design?
If it were me? I'd have a single burn area that straddles the pyramid in the middle.

how durable is it? are there parts you have to replace?
Is there a build video for this? I'd love to watch that.
Cheets ,I will start doing build videos, this one was taken apart so many times it would of been hard to cut all the swearing from the video .
