Tamiya TBLE-04S - Switching from Brushed to Brushless Mode

The TBLE-04S ESC has the ability to power both brushed and brushless motors. Out of the box, the TBLE-04S is set up to work with the Mabuchi motor that comes in most of our kits.
But what if you want to replace that motor with a more powerful brushless motor?
In this video we show you how to do just that! We go through the programming steps needed to switch the TBLE-04S from brushed to brushless mode!
You should also be aware of the two battery cut-off modes as well - LOW battery voltage protection (cuts off at approximately 5.6v) and HIGH battery voltage protection (cuts off at approximately 6.2v). We will have a separate video on that coming soon.

I really wish it was that damn easy all I get is a orange and green light flashing. I got a spectrum brushless 4000kv 2's only just like my Tamiya brushed and brushless speed control. I thought I might get away without buying a different ESC. But the video helps in a way I guess when I get it working have a good day

Only two things that suck about those, brushed motor limit is 25 turns so the sport tuned ( or any other 23 turn motor) is out, and still no 7.4 lipo cut off!

do I have to use a Tamiya brushless or brush motor for that ESC or can I use any brand of motor and the ESC will still work?

Not entireley sure but make sure you don’t fuck up added in a brushless motor carelessly and i heard a loud pop and it stopped working
