Brilliant Stephen, I'm really into astronomy and I've met Patrick Moore twice at Selsey in Sussex. I've got TH-cam videos of my visit and looking at his telescopes but no footage of Patrick himself. I have a Skywatcher 5" Skymax telescope and have seen Mars, Jupiter and the 4 brightest moons and Saturn 🪐 and the moon 🌙
The ISS crosses the sky so quickly too.I'd guess about a 90 seconds to traverse the whole dome.I saw it Tuesday night about 20 hr.and it went under Altair then just above Saturn and the Moon.

Great stuff. I’d like to visit sometime to see his old house. I know Brian May purchased it from him, but not sure what he is doing with it.
