Seems like the developers expected you to have watched the show so you would know why it's important to stop Ares and...whatever the hell he is doing..
(BEFORE WATCHING) I've been asked to do a reaction to this review by a Patron of mine. Do I have permission to do so, and if so, are there any restrictions?
love ur stuff dude! I binge watch ur videos and at least watch 1 or 2 videos a day! I give everyone of ur videos a thumbs up! so hopefully more people will watch ur great content! just a big fan keep up the amazing work!
I have no clue; I don't remember and I don't still have the footage I recorded for it. Looking it up now... IGN says it was published by O-Games. A brief look at their games list; looks like they make nothing but crappy sports games and simple puzzle games. Pirate-themed shooter on WiiWare that was lousy... platformer called Cid the Dummy... They did make a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde game...
That's my basement, where I keep my games. The brown pole is a tube that Christmas Wrapping paper was around; the gray pole is a support structure for the house.
actually its funny, the series is also known for having Bruce Campbell in it (along with the same character he plays being in Xena) and yet i dont thing Mr Campbells character appears in this game
2:17 its, never a good sign when your FORCED to go through the tutorial of the game. If there was an option in the game or in the main menu it wouldn't be so bad, but that's nothing compared to everything else.
At least the Arkham games disguise the tutorial as a normal level with controls along the bottom of the screen; that's how you should do it. But yeah; the tutorial is the least of this game's problems.
***** that reminds me. I was watching your Superman 64 review. Have you ever thought of reviewing the beta version of the game, because it's apparently better than the final result.
I hadn't given it any serious thought, but I might at some point down the line; if only to close the book on that game once and for all (I also reviewed the Game Boy version; Titus made a Game Boy Superman game too!)
Two questions. Is this game worst than quest 64 as a bad N64 rpg/adventure game and which is have the worst video game story objective: Hercules or Final Fantasy 13? Hercules in the show never drink alcohol and only once did he drink when to help an friend.
I have not played Quest 64 so I can't answer that first question. I also have not played Final Fantasy 13, but it's also horrible judging from Spoony's review. Here's my thing: Hercules doesn't tell you ANYTHING about the story until about the halfway mark (we'll get to it in part 2) Final Fantasy 13 may have one of the most horribly written stories in video game history and it may have stretches where- by the game's own admission- the characters have no goal in mind, but there's always something happening; it seems like there's always at least some trace of a story, even if it's the worst story in history.
***** FF13 was so damn linear that there have to be an end goal even it the game refused to tell the player what is the over-all objective was . Hercules's main problem is that let the player have too much freedom without some kind of externally device (Navi) to tell the player to go this place to advance the game plot. Plus those fetch quests in the main gameplay are horrible and only there to lengthen the game without being fulfilling to the player. Hell, I rage quit Lunar: Silver Star Story when they pull the same shit on me when it stole an key item (instant teleporter device) and make me do an fetch quest to get it back by going to 4 level dungeon tower, going back and forth between two town thru an forest maze with monsters 4 times in row, fight two boss and finally talking back and forth several people to get the damn item back!!!!
That does sound lousy. Hercules isn't non-linear though; there are only- I think- seven towns in the entire game. In the first half of the game there's only one new place you can go at a time (for the most part) and in the second half of the game it's pretty obvious where you have to go; it's just unbelievably tedious to get there. You have to track down a few switches to open the door to some of the villages the first time you visit them, but otherwise you're just walking from place to place. There's not anything interesting to do in the meantime like those dungeons in Lunar.
I played this game when I was young too, shortly after Superman funny enough, and I also thought I was just bad at this game, then I saw your review and I was like, oh, this game is just shit too. Fuck Titus.
Recommendation for the game, um, here's a link to a video of what I think you should do w/ the game INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US - 'Eye For An Eye' Deathstroke's Super Move [HD], only if you had a sword and twin Uzis
*****...and now I can surely say that said victim ( If not Kryptonian) would surely die if now, if not wearing adimantium body armor, is in an armor made by Tony Stark, or if you are Wolverine/ Deadpool
I really like your videos, I've been watching at least one a day for the past few weeks. Only gripe is that your rage tends to sound more like an autistic meltdown lol
Lol another great review and another crap game by Titus who should be crucified and all their crappy games must be burned. And just out of curiosity did you see the movie frozen and if so what are your thoughts I personally love it
There's something about this game that I liked. I guess I don't like being too hard on games that are likely low budget. Whereas game reviewers need enough content and have to sometimes tear games to shreds to fill a review.
Yes it is. If they developers were paid by the hour, which many companies do, a low budget means they would have less time to work on the game. The game itself says that it was rushed.
Just because a game was rushed due to having a low budget, doesn't mean it should automatically get a free pass in my opinion. A game should be fun to play, low budget or not, and regardless of circumstances as to how it was made. If developers failed to make a good game, then they failed.
Another point I need to add, if they didn't have enough money to pay the developers to make a quality product back in the day, it honestly shouldn't have been made at all.
10:00 Not joking, but that actually does sound like an epic story xD
You mean the legend of Beercules?
It's better than this crap XD
i would pay to see the legend of Beercules
This needs to be on the r/raimimemes subreddit.
You've made good videos of this game. I played Hercules on the N64 many years ago and enjoyed it.
Lol “Beercules”

No restrictions at all; go on ahead!
Just note that it's obviously part 1 of 2
Also sorry about the audio- I've since improved my recording equipment.
@@Darklordjadow1 No issue with monetizing the reaction?
@@TheQuarterGuy Be my guest! You may go ahead and monetize it.
Omg. I played this game when I was little. Loved the TV show. God, I forgot how pissed it would make me lol.
Turns out Hercules' coat was useless, as it still doesn't have sleeves.
5:09 thank you for referencing Monty Python

Scott Boudreaux Thank you! It really means a lot to me!
Actually, the Zelda series did have one mandatory trading quest, in Link's Awakening.
but you were only forced to do a quarter of it to progress. the rest was optional
Oh...
I always wanted to see this revews.
All the legends I'd heard... 🥰
Dead in the Water is an awesome game. Mario Kart plus Twisted Metal in boats.
I like the part when Kopaka nuva says um stay tuned for part 2 while dljadow is screaming in the end
All that's missing from this game are rings to fly through.
Don't even joke about that!
***** Indeed, Titus/Player One are, shalt we say Un-Holy......
Not to put myself in league with the AVGN, but Titus is my LJN
***** wait, who was the developers of that Titanic game again?
I have no clue; I don't remember and I don't still have the footage I recorded for it.

5:10 Hercules displayed such bravery by running from danger of his enemies that he could be president of Bactria.
Um, Jadow, why do you have a rondom pole in the middle of your room
That's my basement, where I keep my games.
The brown pole is a tube that Christmas Wrapping paper was around; the gray pole is a support structure for the house.
10:00
The scribe himself must've been drunk to think that's heroic!
^o^
I swear to God I think the developers straight up RIPPED textures from OOT and used them for Hercules
actually its funny, the series is also known for having Bruce Campbell in it (along with the same character he plays being in Xena) and yet i dont thing Mr Campbells character appears in this game
Do you have any schedule for part two just curious

Well Engineer can you fix this game.....nope.avi
Who is the Bionicle character says stay tuned for part 2 at 18:48 to 18:56?
Kopaka Nuva. He was always my favorite
It wasn't released as only a rental.

Oh nooo I love Kevin Sorbo, how could anyone do this to him!
I mean whoever made this game, obviously aaah!
Kevin Sorbo's kind of a douche though. Or he seemed to become one after he was in God's Not Dead, anyway.
Heheeh, you mean he turned into Jerkules? :D
Huh... Blues Brothers 2000 and Hercules were released exactly 2 years before the first Metroid Prime game. Pretty weird.
Very odd indeed.
Lol. You gotta use the elemental potions. Fucks the bosses up. They're all impacted differently.
The game is pretty awful, though lol.
@3:35 WTF ????
Oh My God; I just realized what that looks like...
***** Bwahahahaha!
I can't believe I never noticed that!

Review Robocop 03 on xbox it's worst
super)))))))))))))))
I like the game epic mickey so I'm curious what your opinion is on it please review it
Pretty much the only good game Player 1 made was Robotron 64.
You really are masochist when it comes to playing bad video games. I feel your pain man. This game looks terrible.
Thanks.
And yes; this was worse than I thought it would be.
When I was little, it wasn't so bad. Looking back at it, it was a decent game.
There's something about this game that I liked. I guess I don't like being too hard on games that are likely low budget. Whereas game reviewers need enough content and have to sometimes tear games to shreds to fill a review.
aMAX Animations low budget is no excuse for blatant laziness and bad design......
Yes it is. If they developers were paid by the hour, which many companies do, a low budget means they would have less time to work on the game. The game itself says that it was rushed.
