Great video - very clear instructions. Thanks.
I see you have 233,617km on your car. I have rthe same model with 241,000+ kms. I believe that with good care these cars could reach 500,000kms easily and probably a lot more.
Many many thanks for this detailled and clear video !!
Uploaded at the right time, just did that same service today, made it easy, thanks.
Great work. Be blessed!
Thank you for the video. Very informative 👏 regards from Spain 🇪🇸
Very nice job.👍
Thank you, I never knew how to reset the service indicator, now I do.
If you get the engine warm the oil drains a lot quicker.
HTH
Hi. Thanks. Yes, engine was hot, my garage is few kilometers from my home :)
The C5 engine oil filter is in a hell of a place! TT

Explicado de manera perfecta y con imágenes de calidad. Gracias!!

Good job
24:31 lusterko inspekcyjne, liście, odkurzacz, Würth/Bizol C30 10minut pracy bez filtra. Nowy filtr. Polecam co 4 miesiące wymianę.
Złodzieje w serwisach tak robią😆.
I was surprised you didn't check the oil level after running the engine after filling ... to allow for the capacity of the oil filter... plus I hope you kept the remaining clean oil for top-ups before putting old oil in the Can for proper disposal? I like these helpful & informative how-to videos you are making on the C5 X7's very much.
I did check it with the dipstick ;) yes, ofcourse I did not throw away remaining oil :) thanks for your feedback :)
I think I might as well just watch all your videoes. I end up with yours no matter the issue I have with my car. 😅😂
Do you have one for gear box replacement of oil, etc? Got a leakage.
great helpful video,,have you done a timing belt change video ??
Hello! very good video. Can you make a video about changing the oil on automatic gearbox, or maybe just explain. Thank you !
Hello, can you tell me what spray did you used to clean the dust from the engine cover? Thanks alot!
hello thanks for the many helpful videos. where can i buy paper fuel filter For my 2.2 HDI 170 Biturbo I only found the complete plastic filter box
You can't, 2.2 hdi goes with full plastic box and it's much more expensive like 60-100€. I don't know why did they do that...
I'm doing this tomorrow on my C5, Thanks for the guide! Do you know the approximate torque for the oil sump drain plug?
Hi. According to Autodata, it should be 34Nm (+-3Nm).
Really tight space to work on considering how big the hood is. Place managment at French cars isn’t the best😂 Did you have any problems with fuel injectors?
Well, it could be worse :)
Regarding fuel injectors, in more than 4 years of using this car, I had an exhaust leak on one of the fuel injectors, had to replace the washer, thats it :) nevertheless, quite reliable system.
Great job for keeping the stuff clean, hopefully will be watching it in first person when i purchase one😊
Ohh. You should try a Audi with 2,0 tdi then 👀
Then we can talk about hate. 😜
What year is the car please?
The tool you use in 9:35 is not so good. It is very easy to scratch a surface underneath the o-ring and cause leakage. It is much better to use some kind of dull tool. I used to work in automotive industry for over 10 years and we had to remove tools like these from production line, just because quite often operators using them, accidentally damaged produced parts.
Except of this small issue, I find your video very informative.
I think with new oil filter is 5 liter’s oil.
I put 5,10L.
Normally I do my revision at 20.000 km to 20.000 km, the last one in 15.000km.
This revision oil “Total” and all filters “Mann” cost 70€, in Citroen 400€ 😡😡😡😡
I by my Citroen C5 in 2018 with 112.000km now she have 153.000km.
Only need eolys on 130.000km
