ngl I may have cried a little when my Catty arrived a few days ago...after years of being frustrated by 'curvy' dolls that never really felt like a full representation of plus size body types, finally holding this doll in my hands--as you say, girl is SUBSTANTIAL--it affected me more than I expected. I've been collecting for over 30 years, and this is honestly the first time I can say I feel that a doll looks like ME, not just hair or skin tone, her whole shape and physical presence. And she is SO beautiful! This sculpt is a work of art. This doll would have been everything to me as kid (there I'm getting a bit teary again thinking about it 😅). Sure we can quibble over the fashion details, but honestly? I love her exactly as she is. Maybe not perfect, but very much herself.
i love how the newer monster high are a lot more inclusive body wise, it makes the older dolls look terrifyingly skinny 😭, i wish they kept some of the old lore for some characters tho like how torelai was adopted etc !
My mom cried when I showed her this doll! My mom is plus size and grew up bigger than her peers and she told me that seeing a doll that was her body type made her so happy! I hope that she brings others as much joy as she brought us!

The base doll is gorgeous, absolutely love her. But I would commission someone to make her a new outfit. And maybe paint her nose pink like her G1 doll.

She has such a gore-geous bawdy-awdy!! She is devouring with her fabulous sculpt 🥺 her tummy is so cute and it made me so happy when I saw it, like most dolls dont have proper tummys like that. 🔥✨🌟 mother is mothering 💕 (wish they gave her a leather jacket or something tho instead)
Her face is just stunning, by far the prettiest sculpt.
Her base doll is really pretty, I just wish her outfit gave more. Right now she just seems too basic for her debut outfit and appearance. She’s Catty Noir. Not a normal monster high student. I want that shown and I wasn’t given that. Don’t get me wrong she’s cute, but she doesn’t mark up to her gen one counter part in the outfit category.
ZombieXCorn did a really nice upgrade to her outfit. You should watch the video. He got rid of the puffy sleeves and added shiny chrome highlights and a stole with gem sparkles. 🥰
I channeled my inner Angel and bought 8 of her 🤭😌 This doll is just TOO perfect! Her and Venus alone have made G3 my fave gen by far.

I'm as average as it comes with my body. I have nothing in common with Catty's body but that's not gonna stop me from absolutely celebrating her beautiful body🥰💕. It always bothered me that despite being presented as a diverse line, we didn't get a SINGLE doll that actually had fuller plus-size body, sm dolls had that slim-thick bodies and while that's a very valid body(low-key slim-thick myself), it always felt like they were just following the beauty standards that are popular and were damn scared in giving us a doll like this. Excuse the language, but I'm so fucking glad that they stopped beating around the bush and gave an actual plus-size doll that's not the typical slim-thick standard. Catty is sculpted with a tummy! She has a bigger waistline! And while I low-key wish they have proportionalized her body fat more accurately, I do understand that compromises had to be made and I'm very glad they're finally giving us an actual plus-size doll! I love body diversity sm, the moment I actually learned to draw body fat(still practicing), I was so excited in giving characters so many unique body shapes and to finally see it in MH, it's amazing! She's beautiful, fatphobics can eat their crap from the ground I'm glad she was given the body she has. Her body is beautiful and I'm so glad that people with similar body types like her can finally have a doll that they can see themselves like this. I'm not her body type but representation truly matters and I'm so happy for these people 💕.(Now can we get different body types for the boy's too🥺🙏)
Catty's base doll is beautiful no doubt, but of course we couldn't have all our cake. Her outfit is a tragedy. I hate that cheap looking shroud thingy she has, looks so cheaply made. Just removing it, really elevates her dress immensely and immediately imo. Restyles have popped with Catty tho and it shows that Catty's outfit is the problem not her body(not that it ever has let's be clear). This is why Mattel seriously needs to start making fashion packs, especially character-specific ones for Abbey and Catty because locking them behind a 30$ line with poly hair is not IT and I stan that more than ever now that we're getting more body diversity. Besides that tho, I love her shoes! Beautiful sculpting from the MH team but it's just way too pink it drowns out the amazing details of her boots. Instead of that ugly shoulder thing, she should've been given jewelry. Catty looks way too formal for a pop star, jewelry would've look amazing. It's truly a shame that her outfit is poorly executed but I'm so glad restyles from the MH community have popped off like they did, I applaud yall's creativity fr!
Usually I'm a wait-for-a-sale's doll collector just cause I have to pay for other stuff and unfotunately bills have decided this year they were going to hit me lol, Catty is making me test my patience lol. I mean all I can think about is getting her and modifying her dress to one that's worthy of her lol. I'm the fighting the urge to buy her full price like you wouldn't believe ANGEL😭🫠lol!!! But damn I'm so glad Catty is here and ready to serve cunt like she rightfully deserves😌💅✨🐈⬛!!!!
Shes so gorgeous, i cant wait to hold her and play with her 🥹 also i think the blue sunglasses are supposed to play off the blue in the holo part of her dress, but it doesnt translate that well. I think adding some blue into her other accessories wouldve helped it be more cohesive, but maybe in future releases it'll show up more
OMG!!! The way you speak about body diversity and protects what monster high is about in that video...I'm not gonna lie... it made cry!!! You are the best ever... we need more people like you in this world!!!!
FYI catty's microphone fits loosly into core torelei's mic stand and can stay in place, i have mine displayed like that with a clear rubber band holding it on so it doesnt fall out when tipped over.
I ran towards the doll isles after I got off work today and slid down to the monster high section lol had to grab two one for me and one for my best friend she is so pretty

She's really pretty! I wish her boots were painted and a different shade of pink.
Catty looks better in her concept art coat and silver chrome boots. It can always be customize when bought.
Her clothes could have been better, I hope if she has fashion packs and future doll themed lines

I just bought her from Walmart the other day! I love that they made her plus size! Since im a plumpy girlie myself, i feel so represented! She is my favorite out of all my g3 dolls, she's so fwffwwwsd cute! 😭💕

I wasn't super impressed with this doll at first from stock pics but seeing this video, she is GORGEOUS. I will probably have to pick her up. I agree the matte would be better over her whole body. I love that she's actually heavier too.

My Walmart had Venus and Catty for about 2 days and now she is out of stock along with Monster Fest and Core Refresh Lagoona. Like they just put them out where I live and people are scooping them up! I love that for my Monster High!

As a fellow curvy girl - I think her FABULOUS. Her body is gorgeous and her skin color makes me weep for how lovely and rich it is.
My one critique is that I’m not crazy about the outfit. I think who ever designed her clothes never designed for fuller-figured girls. It’s crazy how when you take her clothes off she looks half her size.
Imma get one for INBOX, and one for which I’m gonna OOAK repaint and make a new outfit for.
Other than that I give, her a 20/10!

Literally as beautiful as G1 Catty is she really suits a larger curvier body! Also I've seen so many people hating on the dress but I think it also looks cute! I really commend MH for trying to make fatter body sculpts considering how difficult it can get with articulation, they've done a really great job!
Nah. Amulette is a girl. The spelling is French and the ette is a feminine spelling. But you do you. Maybe it's a boy. I love that she's a thick girl because I am definitely a thick girl. I appreciate the body diversity. None of us are shaped the same and I love that Monster High is not all shaped the same. I got her fairly recently and she's absolutely stunning!

She is awesome. I got a chrome pen to try and spice up some of her pieces. I guess when I get her she should be here by Wednesday or Tuesday I don’t remember but I wish she would come earlier!!
