You will go in debt at least $200,000 in debt for law school. I know this because my wife is a lawyer. Trucking is a good career if you can handle the ups and downs and the good and bad. Trades are where it's at. A college education is not what everybody needs. I know plenty of people with degrees that don't do what their degree is for. We have this delusion that the luxuries in life are what makes you happy. WRONG! Happiness is not found in money. It's found in pride in your work, working hard and paying your bills. I disagree with your philosophy on the trucking industry. But if you think going in debt to become a lawyer to make "big money" go ahead and do what you think is best for you. You might make six figures in about 15 years after you spent about 7 years getting the education. Don't believe the hype all lawyers make big money. Not true. No law firm is going to pay you six figures out of law school. My wife is a lawyer. It took her almost 10 years to hit six figures and we are in debt still for that degree.
