honestly even from the very start it was clear as day it was absolutely cracked. maybe not broken because the ult is undeniably not one of the best but her overall kit is nuts(especially the flash)

yeah, a global trip/insane isolating tool, a rechargeable info flash, and 2 mollies which has the same trajectory of the most broken mollies in the game. Yeah, even if they reduce the ult's duration, Vyse would still replace a few agents in some comps.

I think she can be paired really well with a breach. Combos like razorvine + aftershock, arc rose+ flashpoint at the same part so if you look away you get flashed a little later by the rose and if you break the rose the flashpoint flashes you, rolling thunder + steel garden.
Breach goes well with anyone in general. But I think she'll replace Breach in some comps like Haven. Imagine double controller, Sova/Fade, movement and Vyse. You get scanned while getting flashed, through smokes.
You better have a strong retake comp. Thankfully people are getting smarter and realizing that a sentinel is about passive map control and not always about shutting down a push.

I predicted that the Shear was gonna cost 200 credits, since it is common place among Sentinels with traps to be able to at least buy the trap and one charge of your other ability, so you can combo them together on pistol round, while also having enough credits for light armor. I am however a bit suprised that Razorvines only cost 150 credits, because every Sentinel other than Sage and Chamber have a total ability cost of 600, but I guess it's because it isn't as good used aggressively as a Nanoswarm or Cyber Cage.
vyse vines and harbor ult would be good on attack side execute, add a gekko molly for extra pain, maybe think of the vines like a grav net, cuz it basically forces the enemies not to move whie in it
think about this in a post plant as attacker and just holding an angle that you know where the last person is and the second they peek you just pop your flash, this is an unreal ability
This looks like a perfect agent for fast flood retakes. You let them on the site and keep them there, with your team ready to fast flood. It's an interesting twist on "holding space" where while you're not physically stopping them from getting on, but you're still holding "control" of the space. Great agent design imo
The threat of the ult in retakes is ridiculous. There’s the situation you described and then there’s the situation where you’re attacking and take the site and then can just hold the space with the ultimate, if they try to retake, ult and you get a huge advantage in the fights.

I have been thinking the same lol. I thought of a couple buffs that I think would actually be fair and could help him though. 1.) make it so the trip can be placed on vertical surfaces. This will definitely increase the number of times it works but will make him more formidable in holding a site. 2,) Increase headhunter ads zoom to like 3x instead of 1.5x, so as to give ads with it more use case. And 3.) in conjunction with #2, an ads hs with the headhunter should make a slow field, shorter in duration than ult or trip slow field, on their dead body. Giving reason to use his headhunter even on full buy rounds an allowing him to have better rush stopping potential which all other sentinels have to varying degrees.

Make the stability curve on the headhunter slightly better again to reward daring plays on eco or thrifty rounds as the headhunter sees reduced use after pistol, thrifty or eco rounds apart from when Chamber is using an operator.
theres no way that this agent is actualy this balanced and strong at the same time I love it. Like thr flash gives really good value and has a low cooldown but you can counter that by destroying the flash and making the cd longer
Razor thorn has one glaring problem. You can strafe in it without taking damage and even stand still meaning you have no reason to get out of it. Also the flash is easy to see from a mid range, once people know the locations of where it is its going to be as useful as cypher trips good against people who dont know
that is where you want to comba the razorvine with, remember every util isnt meant to be used alone just imagine youre being rushed and you get caught in the razorvine, you are gonna be moving or gamble that you can get a pick before you ultimately die imagine you get caught in a razorvine and a flash hits you, you def dont want to just stand still and hope to god your random spray hits someone and especially you dont want to just stand still when youre in a razorvine with a molly the util combo with razorvine is where i see that it has its best value
Imagine if the ult was instead a visible pool that you can enter/re-enter and it still disables primaries, its just it doesn't just affect surrounding players, but any upcoming players
This is our first official two way sentinel. I know deadlock kind of is but this honey right here can flex initiator quite well. I don’t think it’s going to be quite as annoying as deadlock and sage together but it might be close.
We need two trips for chamber and increase the range of tp or not but two trips can help a lot. I mean as a sentinel chamber cant hold a site even you get a kill you have to tp back cause maximum time in high rank people always there for trade. So if rhey give two trip you can get massive help. Otherwise give a buff when we retrieve the trip can use it instantly. That also help a lot. Some people will say increase the range so let me tell you something the range is just perfect. The range is good enough to get away from dangerous situation. But yeah the cooldown is so fucking long 30 sec is huge u cant use it maximum of attacking round.
I expect wall to go up to 400 like Sage's and slow to also be 200 each. If im not mistaken I thought every full ability loadout was supposed to cost 800
Your best use for the ult on attack is to use it when your team is on an eco everyone half buys or buys Ghosts/Sheriffs Vyse ults a site get 2-3 kills and now your team has rifles to defend the bomb with.
I feel like the flash is gonna get shot out pretty easily if you try to use it like a breach flash while attacking. It feels like she is going to end up more like deadlock for attack where you try to set up some sort of trap for the retakers
My only question about the Q ability is would you be able to trip it if you say omen tp across it? Or chamber tp? If it alerts you it beats most sentinel utility in the game tbh

So you cannot clear angles just because you threw a razorvine there. Also it has almost no postplant value since throwing it on the spike wont interrupt the defuse since the defuser...is standing still. Now I do like how the vinea produce sound if people walk through it which makes me think vyse is more focused on info gathering rather than actualy pushing people off of angles. These mostly apply for attack

Completely block off a choke if someone is there, no range restriction, breach flash that can recharge AND GIVES INFO if no info just do it again they won't shoot it at slow field that u can use for bomb and all the abilities work with each other on defence perfectly. This character only doesn't have a movement ability what can't it do

More credits can be invested in guns so they can be more aggressive in think

U could also use the wall for stall on post - put it on a wall which also covers bomb and pushes them off + stalls for however long it lasts

If you mean visibility then it’s more like a cypher trip. When you get up close to it, you can see the mark and hear and a constant sound.

I don't get how they make this flash 20 seconds cool down and 45 seconds if destroyed but it would be a disaster If chamber doesn't completely lose his tp if it's destroyed and weather you pick it up or use it its 30 whole seconds cooldown I am not saying vyse's cooldown is the problem I am saying they should buff chamber
