Better to compare with other videos..i will test it again if I ever get the 4G hardwiring kit
I've ordered one. But I hope they update that 10 second shoot left/right/inside. If you are pulled over by police or being tailgated you want it to record in the direction you set for as long as you want
@@Hazen_Muhammad good point...rotating with the app will fix the dash cam facing one direction as we pleased..but you will need to be quick i guess b4 the police comes lol After that you will need to readjust it back to the middle manually
He did not mention in the U.S. you can't use the features the hard wire gives. No real time monitoring, and no instant app alert. So you pay exactly what others do but not get the same features. I believe it's a rip off.

And a simple thing as the coalition detection, what should be done with an accelerometer that doesn't use more then 2 to 3 mah , already makes this dashcam us about 200mAh/h in combinations with the 4 G module, Without the coalition detection and Motion detection, it just uses 10-20mAh/h including the 4G module. So the nice advertisement of the motion detections are focusing on a feature that you can only use for a short period of time. Leave your car for 4 days and the changes is high that it won't start. Except if you have a smart car that just completely switched of the Omni.
Great video Matthew, would the parking surveillance be triggered if someone, seeking to key/scratch the car, approached from the back or side of the car. Someone in my apartment complex has being keying my car and want to know who.
Hi there, thanks for the kind words The camera won't detect from the back unless there is some sort of vibration of the car..for the sides, it will only detect if the person is in the range of the "eye" (lens), that means at the front side but not the rear side Unless the keying of the car is strong enough that it vibrates the car body, I don't think the dashcam will "wake up" to start recording Hopefully you get what I mean
You seem to also have the A800 or the A810. Probably the older A800, seeing that this TH-cam video is eleven months old and the A810 is relatively new. How does the Omni compare to the A800? The ADAS features are better in one of them? Night image quality is supposed to be better with the A800, especially due to its 4K resolution, but is the Omni also usable for license plate recognition? Thank you.
Hi..yes i have a A800, but the latest model by 70mai is the A810 A810 is definitely better in terms of quality compared to the A800 and A800S, as A810 was made specifically for clearer plate recognition with a newer image sensor The A800 plate recognition isn't as good when the other vehicles travel fast especially at night, but from other video reviews this seems to have been improved with the better image sensor in the A810 ADAS is similar for both and both quite sensitive I would recommend the A810 over Omni cause it has a rear cam..Omni is mainly for just rotating recording but the rear is basically absent..but it all boils down to what you want in a dashcam...for me clear front and rear recording is more important Hope this helps 😃
i find that a struggle to make it work too.. It only happened once..apparently it is something to do with the mechanism of suspicion lol from the light turning yellow to red

Hello, i have this camera with the 4g hardware kit. Im unable to activate the sim (Im from spain). Does the sim have to be unlock before inserting it (without pin code)? Also the surveillance does not seem to trigger when i turn off the car.. I have both wire correctly set but idk. Maybe its detecting undervoltage on batery or something. Thanks. Hi i think this was enhanced collision instead because i shook the car to a little and it started recording For enhanced collision depending how strong the impact (shake), it pans around 360 first before focusing to the direction of the impact Motion detection happens if there is suspicious activity in front it, say if someone is in front of the car for sometime the ring on the dash cam changes to yellow, then red if you collide with the car..but the recording is still happening

hardwired mine and time lapse is activated when i turn off the engine, how can i record a timeplase like yours which is 12hrs? is there specific adjustments on the settings?
I set it to start recording 5 mins after the engine is off... The reason it was 12hours wad because i didn't touch the car for that duration..timelapse stops whenever we restart the car? I hope you get what i mean.. I don't think there is any special settings as the app would've shown 🤔 the longer we leave the car idle the better looking the timelapse is haha

Hi yes i do have hardwire kit installed for my A800..no it doesn't record 24/7, just that it is on standby 24/7 in case someone knocks the car, it would turn on... Butt i haven't checked if there is any updates on time-lapse..might do it later I use a normal kingston 128gb sd card now..so far kingston has been good, but usually people recommend any card with Endurance on it 1 of my strontium card and 2 of my normal samsung and sandisk cards were all corrupted

Hi i didn't have enough cars to install lol so i sold it..but the guy who bought from me is very happy with it
so you have it moving when you are driving ..Bam hit someone ...missed the whole recording ? no way it could move back fast enough..
No it faces the front at all time...only upon impact it moves to the location of impact
