This motorcycle, this museum, and this youtube channel just makes me happy! Thank you! Couple of quick questions. I love the clean lines of this motorcycle, but how's riding without mirrors? And I'm assuming these older bikes were designed to run on leaded gas. Is an additive needed?
No biggie without mirrors, although I have a couple I could bolt on for the winner. No need for lead or additive, engine has hardened steel valve seats.

One of the most beautiful bikes ever made in my opinion. Someone will be lucky to snatch that up. I had a 36 in the same color. Too bad it was only a Franklin Mint model.

Many of the brand new highways built before the war had no speed limits. Pennsylvania Turnpike comes to mind. Many states out west had no speed limit laws until the 55 mile an hour speed limit came in after the bullshit energy crisis.

My uncle had a knucklehead like that. Full of gas and oil it weighed around 500 lb. It came with a certificate from the factory that it went 110 miles an hour. He paid around $500 for the bike. He used to say $500 would buy you the best motorcycle in the world or the worst car in the world. It's a shame that because of the value of the bike it's going to end up mausoleum. Inexpensive bikes are cheap and cheerful. I love when I go to a Harley event I'm one of my vintage bikes and people take more pictures of me and my bike than any bunch of CVO Harleys that cost more than my house. I love when I get filmed kick starting my motorcycle. The knucklehead is a far cry from the overweight unreliable particularly expensive Behemoth that they build now. They were playing 1940s music in the Harley dealership on Saturday and I told them that if this was a dealership in 1940 I would buy one of everything on the showroom floor.

Got my tickets. If I win that beauty I'm gonna part it out, get the most bang for my buck. : ) Kidding of course. I'd keep it together and ride the poop out of it. Don't let Jason Mamoa win it, he'll take a spray can to it and paint it black. That's what he did when HD gave him a brand new softail slim a few years ago. Albeit it was a new bike, not a classic like this. I don't think he'd disrespect this jewel of a motorcycle by painting it with a rattle can. : )
This bike was built by the best and being broke in by the best and it sounds amazing if I win I would love to give my friend a chance to ride it at least one time and then sell it back to the museum for a great price I'm trying to get out of South Carolina back to Indiana💙💙💙💙💙💙🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
