Am I the only one that finds this palette absolutely stunning!! I’m determined to get this one & it will be the 1st Anastasia palette I own. I have all the Makeup Revolution reloaded palettes which are dupes for a lot of ABH palettes. I just don’t have the $$ to splurge on high end palettes but I’m gonna save up for this one!!!!!
Kooky Katt - I found one SubCulture palette at Marshalls and someone already stuck their fingers in it, of course. I will check my other local stores to see if I can get one. I won't hold my breath. I do know of a Sephora near by that had a ton of them earlier this spring in the drawer (inside JCP). I was able to pick up a 2nd KVD Saint and Sinner palette that was stashed away in a drawer unopened and get the spring VIB discount on it. I love that palette and it's a go to for me with so many options for natural every day looks to glam, smokey looks and anything in between. The only problem colors were the way too chunky two super glittery shades at the very top of the palette (glitter glue would probably fix that). Off topic - has anyone seen any Macadamia Oil leave in spray conditioner at TJ or Marshalls (they repackaged)? I cleaned out ULTA on the travel size at only $2.75 a bottle. Lynn
I am super EXCITED for this palette. I love Cool tones so much!! Seems like everyone forgot about Cool tones because they love the Warm tones so I will definitely be picking this palette up. I also love the packaging so pretty. Love the look you created.
Jamie, I have neutral skin and can go cool or warm and while I love a good warm look, I have been missing cool tones since every brand has been chasing the warm tone trend for what seems like an eternity. It is nice to finally see some cool toned product hit the market and especially from a brand like ABH. Their formulas have almost always worked out for me. Save two palettes, the others have been easy to work with. There have only been two that, while workable were not easy for me to use as a go to on the daily when looking to grab a reliable palette, a few good brushes and run out the door and do my eye look on my commute (train) to work. I am very much looking forward to getting this one as well. Lynn

Excellent review, I loved you doing the finger swatches and also holding the frame for a moment so that we can look at each color. I have been very interested in this palette, and haven’t bought one since Jaclyn Hill’s original palette- this one really grabs my attention with the peachy pink, cool browns, and the bronze shades. The color Cyborg also blows me away!!
You actually suit cooler tones more than the warm tones. But obviously warm/orange etc are so beautiful on your blue eyes. I'm loving this palette can't wait to to get it!
FUK YES! Ive been searching for a plaette like this...sooooooooooo SICK of all the damn warm, red, orange, peach palettes. give me some grays/slates, mauves, taupey-purples, cool tone greens etc. And the fact that this one has the matte bone and matte black...i feel like they could have done better with adding an array for more strictly cool tones but im still getting it!!

I don't think that dark brown color blended out well/ easily as you said, or was I not watching the same video? It look a bit patchy. in my opinion it looked like you ended up with a lot more than you intended to make it work. You played it off well. You did make it look good though, tapped into your music skills there..good job
Cool, so it wasn’t just me and it was obvious enough there was some “fluffing” going on with kinda sucks cause I watch her videos and take her opinions seriously. I have the same skin type and almost skin tone so the videos are gold to me. Guess I know it’s a biased opinion
I tend to buy Anastasia palettes without hesitation before I even see swatches. Your look is amazing; very glam and versatile. I hope you do a look with that coral shade and the rose gold shade. I was hesitant with the pink shades on the Modern Renaissance palette until I saw a few looks, and I’m anxious to see a look with the matte coral.

I didn’t think I wanted this palette but it’s actually one of my cool go to lately. Between this and Amrezy your set with some serious glamorous looks!
I’m excited about this palette. I love naked 2 but wanted more mattes and this palette is that. I wish that there were a few less bronze shimmers and mire mattes like a matte mauve or plum but I’m still probably going to pick this up.
I completely agree..wishbthey swapped the coppers and bronzes that we all have 5000 of in all our plaettes and placed some more strickly cool tones..mauves, couple different grays, cool army green etc.

TriathlonandMakeup I thought the same when I first saw it as I collect ABH palettes myself but saw it in store touched it once and had to have it. The shades look very different in person then on camera or in pictures. The shimmers are a lot nicer and even more pigmented then the Norvina Palette. And with that Corel shade in there this palette does seem to be very versatile. I myself had to have it just the new packaging and the shimmers alone made it a must have. I'm a warm tone lover so wasn't excited about this when I first saw it but I recommend going to see it in store before you pass on it as I do think it's limited edition if I remember correct. It's pretty for the vanity even if I didn't love it lol

I love using that pop of color on my lid smoked out by any number of the awesome rich color shadows in it! It reminds me of Pat MG in her Mothership 10 with the platinum and other cool toned shimmers.
Isn't it fascinating how different our undertones can be for makeup? I got the Backtalk lipstick, and it looks so much more pink on you than it does on me--it's more brown, even though I'm cool toned. (I love it, BTW!) That silver shadow looks amazing with the smokey eye--so beautiful!
Zara Kh omg almost all of them! I think I own 85% of them.. they are just sooo pigmented! If you love colour get your hands on the masquerade palette I would sau that’s probably my most favorite but honestly I do love them all

Dystopian was super patchy, it never blended from where you laid the color down on your outer right eye. The color was also very different on the eye than in the pallet, you did address that though.

The outer packaging is absolutely stunning! But, I’m a bit underwhelmed by the shades inside. I wish they added some darker shades in burgundy, pink, bronze, or purple. I know allot of people are bashing this pallet, but for me I love it. I have never gotten an abh pallet and this is my first. I feel like I can do hundreds of looks with it. I can see people not liking it compared to other pallets if they already have them but I love it and recommend it!
I love the colour selection. Even though I am wearing warm browns today, I am a cool eyeshadow lady, so this palette is right up my street. Must see if I can find somewhere I can swatche the palette x
When I see this palette and the look you did with it, I instantly think of Instagram makeup pictures. Everyone either does creative/FX looks or crazy (good crazy) smokey eyes. I like the idea of a super smokey palette. I think it's Soft Glam's cool tone sister. Honestly, warm tones don't look good on everyone, believe it or not, so I was excited for this.

The eye look you created is beautiful! I was excited to see this palette tested as these colors speak to me! But I am now turned off once seeing how that deep dark brown color performed... I love a good chocolate brown to deepen the outer edge of my eye and work it slightly into my crease... sadly I wont be getting this palette.

If you were to describe what the difference is between cool toned and warmed toned, how would you describe it? I always think of cool tones as having more of a gray base and warm tones as having more of a tan base. Does that sound correct to you??
Tiffany Hawkins or blue based cool and red toned warm. I tend to think of ROYGBIV - green is neutral anything before is warm and anything after is cool. So if it’s a chocolate reddish Taupe it’s warm and yellow is still warm but not as warm and blue/grey taupe is cool. Or at least that’s what goes through my mind.
I love this! I also prefer the size of these over the urban decay's. Must easier to fit on my smaller makeup bags for traveling. Thank you for the review.
I am leaning towards getting it because I tend to lean towards cool tones and I love Prism and Norvina more than modern Renaissance. I have urban decay naked smoky and Lorac Pro 2 and it seems to have similar shades to those palettes. But the ABH formula is so bomb. Theirs and Lorac are really my favorites. So soft and buttery.
I love cool toned & neutral eyeshadows more than anything but... if there were like three more matte shades over shimmers I would buy it, but the shades do look gorgeous... idk. I guess I’ll just see when I look at the palette in person and decide if I want it then! Thank you for the review though!!! 💛

Exactly. A matte eggplant would have played nicely. Who needs another bronze eyeshadow? And is bronze even sultry? Not what I think of.

I would have loved a deep plum/purple but I think the idea was to offer a selection that you can’t get in the other palettes for variety xx

Hi Nikkia! I love this palette! What brand are those pink brushes? You mentioned them but I didn’t catch the brand.
When I see this palette and the look you did with it, I instantly think of Instagram makeup pictures. Everyone either does creative/FX looks or crazy (good crazy) smokey eyes. I like the idea of a super smokey palette. I think it's Soft Glam's cool tone sister. Honestly, warm tones don't look good on everyone, believe it or not, so I was excited for this.

The eye look you created is beautiful! I was excited to see this palette tested as these colors speak to me! But I am now turned off once seeing how that deep dark brown color performed... I love a good chocolate brown to deepen the outer edge of my eye and work it slightly into my crease... sadly I wont be getting this palette.

I use Soft Glam several times a week. I dont think they are that similar at all!
If you were to describe what the difference is between cool toned and warmed toned, how would you describe it? I always think of cool tones as having more of a gray base and warm tones as having more of a tan base. Does that sound correct to you??
Tiffany Hawkins or blue based cool and red toned warm.
I tend to think of ROYGBIV - green is neutral anything before is warm and anything after is cool.
So if it’s a chocolate reddish Taupe it’s warm and yellow is still warm but not as warm and blue/grey taupe is cool.
Or at least that’s what goes through my mind.

I am leaning towards getting it because I tend to lean towards cool tones and I love Prism and Norvina more than modern Renaissance. I have urban decay naked smoky and Lorac Pro 2 and it seems to have similar shades to those palettes. But the ABH formula is so bomb. Theirs and Lorac are really my favorites. So soft and buttery.
Do you think this is too similar to Naked Smokey? Worth buying this one too?

I love cool toned & neutral eyeshadows more than anything but... if there were like three more matte shades over shimmers I would buy it, but the shades do look gorgeous... idk. I guess I’ll just see when I look at the palette in person and decide if I want it then! Thank you for the review though!!! 💛
