Pros

For the money this is a pretty good quad with a decent camera that actually records pretty good video, as there doesn't seem to be jello with this one. Well done MJX!
reminds me of the MJX X708p only with GPS and an on/off switch which the X708p badly needs. I have a bugs 5w as well and couldnt be happier with MJX'x products. this should be a great first gps drone.
Camera is good for the price. Flies well enough (as a expected from a MJX) and is stable enough for a GPS basic machine. I quite like it

Hi, i have this same model. The drone can’t connect to the controller. When i turned on the drone, all the light blinks yellow rapidly. The manual says that the aircraft’s 2.4ghz signal is disconnected. Do you know how to fix it?
Yes. To reconnect the controller, hold down the red "Lock" button while simultaneously turning on the transmitter. You should only need to do this once, as for follow on flights the drone will remember the controller connection.

1080p, fpv thats decent, return to home, if low battery, camera with decent gimbal at least moving up and down but prefer the image stabilisation, distance with at least 300-500m, and a tf card for top resolution. Any help would be awesome!! Nice vid btw

Hey peeps... Just got one delivered today and does anyone know when you flick the GPS button on the remote does it auto find sats?
Yes. Make sure that the button is set to GPS. Then follow the startup procedures as shown at 7:45 in the video. Pay particular attention to the compass calibration (you'll need to do that before every flight). Also wait until you are receiving at least 9 satellites before taking off.
@@Quadcopter101 Thanks for that, yeh I did it all the same and the remote connects then I calibrate it and it responds well but no satellites. Not sure but will keep trying.

received drone after waiting a month and can not get remote to connect to drone. Have tried all videos and instructions.
It sounds like it lost bind. Your instruction manual shows how to regain connection if this happens. But in a nutshell, turn on your drone and place it on a flat and level surface. Next hold down the red unlock button while simultaneously turning on the transmitter. The will put the transmitter into search bind mode. Wait until you hear a beep and you should be good to go. You should only need to do this once. The transmitter should remember the connection for future flights, requiring you to merely turn on the transmitter.
How do i check if my phone is compatible with the drone?
Google your phone's model name, along with the term "802.11". Then in the search results, see if 802.11ac WiFi shows up in its specifications.

Man the camera on this drone is impressive for a toy. Too bad it is a fisheye lens. Seems great for under $100 though.

What model phone do you own? Are you certain that its is 802.11ac WiFi capable as discussed and stressed at 2:12 in the video?
Yes is 802.11ac.my fone is a Xiaomi. Play.
@@steveernest7530 OK then. In your X104G instruction manual, there is a section that describes how to switch between the available 5Ghz WiFi channels. Suggest trying a different WiFi channel.

The good news, it's under $100!!! The bad news, to use the maps, you need to spend $1,500 for a round trip to China.. LOL.. I'll stick with my Spark... Folks, I've spent thousands on cheap drones and good drones. My favorite happens to be my Helifar X140 FPV bird for flying around the house and the RC field. My two outside camera drones are the DJI Mavic and Spark. All others I've either trashed or sold on eBay.

@@RomualdDaveTumaliuan The Samsung Galaxy On6 only has the older 2.4Ghz WiFi (802.11 b/g/n). It does NOT have 5Ghz 802.11ac WiFi capability. Unfortunately, your phone will not work with this drone. You will need to use a phone with 5Ghz 802.11ac WiFi to connect WiFi and use the app.
