I bought same case in blue to match my blue iphone 14 ( standard 14). The case looks great fits very snug but I am worrying about the protection do you know if the case will protect the phone well ?
I have this case and have zero concerns about it’s removal. I believe it was done to accommodate the larger picture angle. After holding and using this case for 2 weeks now I’m confident the camera’s protected.
@@matthewjones6076 I’m glad to hear that. I received the cases, it appears the Pro Max has more of a ridge at the bottom - didn’t look closely as all 3 (2 pros, 1 pro max) are waiting for me to receive the actual backordered phones ;). Thanks on the positive feedback on their protection.
i have seen many phone cases video from many youtubers, but none of them shows how covers fit inside pockets. Because many times we purchase the covers and later we feel that the covers get stuck inside the pockets and difficult to remove cuz of their material which shouldn't be happening- I hope people start showing that too -
I've used this case on my last 5 or 6 phones. But the removal of the back ridges (which I understand is for magsafe) finally has me searching for a new case. The back of the case is so slick now I can't stand it. It's a shame. This should be the perfect hybrid of protection and grip but with acceptable thinness. It's just not anymore.
It wasn’t removed for MagSafe. Speck did this change across their whole line up. The case feels a bit thinner and more slippery but still among the tops in grip.
@@MatthewMoscotto I figured it was a MagSafe thing. My bad. I’ve kept the case on my phone for the past few weeks and I’ve either gotten used to it or it’s kind of worn on a bit and it grips well. Not as good as previous versions but more than acceptable compared to a few other grip style cases I’ve tried to replace it with. May give the DBrand a go when they aren’t on back order anymore.
The case feels grippy enough to me but I’m coming from an otter box commuter case which was slippery as hell. The grip protrudes on the sides which to me is really the only place I need it to protrude to keep it from slipping when I hold it. This is by far my favorite iPhone case. Highly recommend it in blue.
The front speaker is covered by the case. You are looking at your screen protector cut out. The speaker cut out sits above that and is covered. Sound still comes out but is slightly muffled if listening to music. I love these cases but am returning mine for this reason.
I noticed that to, but if you look down starting from your charger port you can see there a space between the speaker and case. I didn’t notice any muffled sound
I do have the same case for my iPhone 14 pro it’s beautiful case , looks so nice case. Looks like protective case.
4:45 not really shaky guys, only if you hit that opposite corner, but I don’t think you’ll hit it that much.

I have the presidio 2 grip case in black for the 14 pro max but the camera lip is even all around. Doesn’t slope down like on the gray one

It’s no longer the case. Latest batch fixed that issue. It’s all evenly raised now.
Will it fit iphone 13pro? And will the buttons work? I really like that color but they dont offer that on iphone13pro

The lack of camera lip on the bottom is a weird choice.
That’s exactly what I thought at first but I bought it and realized it could be for magsafe accessories since the cameras on the 14 Pro are so big

No I don’t think so
Grips have been redesigned to be not protruding because of MagSafe & its accessories (since Speck iPhone 13 PresidioGrip MagSafe series).
I feel like they could of had some sort of tiny protruding grip on the back and still keep the strength of MagSafe.
That's the reason I haven't been buying this case anymore. Although I've never actually had the chance to hold the redesign.
Speck is now my favorite iPhone case after trying a bunch of different brands.

It's not really covered..I don't hear any difference..there is still tiny space through the edge of the case and no muffling sound at all
