these films are very helpful. My dad, who grew up in St. Paul, used to tell me about the streetcars from a rider's standpoint and it is good to have his stories filled in with more technical aspects. Thank you very much for doing this.
Great film, I drove for TWC from 1960 to 1966 then went into the USAF and now live in Amarillo, Texas. This brings back lots of memories. The last bus I drove was Number 1399 on Selby Lake no 21A, on May 5th 1966.
During that time applicants for Bus Drivers were required to take a written test. There were separate tests: one for Whites and one for Blacks. Consequently there were very few Black bus drivers at that time.
