1:21-1:34 are some of the most visually cool moves I've seen in a long time, as someone who doesn't normally get blown alway by dance.

when i moved to california, one of the things i was not ready to see was outdoor workout areas populated entirely by people wearing regular workout clothes and just the craziest footwear. like nothing anyone would wear to work out: cowboy boots, platform heels, ballet slippers. it took me a while to figure out what i was looking at. they were dancers rehearsing. of course they wouldn't want to get their costumes dirty just to work out, but they definitely had to be in the shoes they were going to be wearing onstage so they'd be used to dancing in them. it was weird to see, but it makes sense. dancers practice like crazy in the shoes they need to dance in until they're just like second feet to them.
