I found Jess through Newsies. His movement and energy just stood out to me and I’m not shocked to see him thriving. It’s so fun to watch him dance to King of New York again. I’ve watched the musical so many times that i nearly have the choreography memorized in my mind lol. His posture and incredible jumps. Unreal.

I have been in musical theatre for 40 years and this young man is mega talented! I have performed in productions in New York, Connecticut, Florida and Texas. I have choreographed several shows and LOVE the performing! Break a Leg to this AMAZING gentleman and pray that he will go very far with his extraordinary talent. Keep performing!!👍🏿😊

It looked more like it was filmed with a camera made for 3D. Remember the red and blue glasses one would wear when seeing a legit 3D movie (aka back in the 90s)?
I think it's that kitschy thing they do where they briefly misalign a red image and a blue image over the main one. You'll see that around the edges. It's very trendy these days, but unnecessary here, in my opinion.

I love seeing this. I love the physicality of it all. And, I can only imagine how all that "energy" is intensified when you have more people on stage. Young men NEED to be physical... to DO something (instead of computer games, kvetching on Twitter). I hope that dancing, that is planned, learned steps set to music, will come back again. I was a child of the 1980s where there simply were no dance steps to learn (no cha-cha, no mashed potato). Lastly, I enjoy hearing about the friendships, the camaraderie, that this young man experiences from his work. It's refreshing to see such a healthy, optimistic attitude.
What's with the awful editing effects you've added? I used to love these because the focus was on the dancing and the movements - now it's like a bad music video by a bunch of high school kids. Some things are best left alone.
"Cats - choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler" ... well, actually, most of the steps seen there are copied from Gillian Lynne's original choreography, so she deserves to be stated there, too.

I can't explain the shaking edits but re the glow perhaps the giant windows over-exposed the image and it was the best way they could mask it.
