This was a great film. It’s not an easy watch but a very rewarding one. It’s much better than its IMDB rating indicates.

I’ve ordered it now :) When the general public rates it poorly, I generally really like it. I am so passed all this big budget Hollywood superficial immature nonsense. There’s very little interesting stuff coming from Hollywood these days. It’s about 2 maybe 3 good big budget films a year.

Love this movie and I think they deserved a better interview if I’m honest. Love Kev, but it’s clear he went blind into this and wanted to talk Ready Player One and Jurassic Park

Udo is in there as well?! Zeee quinteszzzential german bad guy! I gotta see this.
Udo Kier is really a lovely friendly man, its ironic he’s always cast in such bad roles.
I’m with the director about subtext, visual hidden story and creating depth beyond the page. I worked on this indie film as I just got of my first feature and I was amazed about the incredible depth. Tye and Goldblum earn their livelihood with the big flicks which is fine. But I think they are actors that can personify a script and create layers of complexity over their character.
Tye’s characters are raw and realistic, like Goldblum says simple and poetic. And Goldblum can make these Dr Jeckyl and Hyde type grey personalities. One of my all time factories films is the Fly, and he personifies the obsessiveness and jealousy so well. And it even reflects non the era of the 80s where, being “big” and good looking and all this super visual exterior nonsense, he really brought that zeitgeist into the role.

Kevin Smith needs a new wardrobe for the new slim body. Looks like hes still wearing his old clothes.
