I really don’t like that movie. It just broke my heart! Everyone in it was amazing but I’ve never been able to watch it again. But I would Certainly tell her what amazing actress she is on that. I’ve enjoyed so much of a work.
I loved when she worked at liquid sky design. used to see her at the party~ the Living Room. One of the best parties from early NYC 90’s rave scene. She gave me a kiss once at the tunnel. Never forget those days.
Chloe was a young person here still excited with trying to be cool. Probably still is. Young ppl are all corporate influenced. America has been selling since it started. Liking Patti Smith is a sale. Being brand oriented is a sale. You could write a piece, The Selling of the World. Already done. lol
Yes I do. I saw it at the Angelika theater when the movie first came out back in 1995. She along with Rosario Dawson were a bunch of no names then a few years later they blew up.
I actually remember seeing Kids in London uk at cinema in 95.I was still at school, 16.Really shocked how raw and graphic the film was, especially as they used actually teenagers instead of people in the 20s.Its was at least 5 or 6 years before it issued on DVD/ VHS as uk censorship had a big issue with the film.still has the power to shock.underated masterpiece.
I lived in NYC for two years while I was in graduate school so I wasn't a longterm resident, but even I know that the grungy gutter-y East Village she's pining for has been long gone for decades now. I used to go see movies sometimes at the Village East theater and my impression of the neighborhood was that it was mostly rich young people and a spillover of NYU kids (oftentimes one in the same)
+Chris Colon is it? I'm not a New Yorker but isn't Lower east side adjacent, Lower east side is south of Houston Street while East village is between Houston Street and 14th street?
+Gunnhild Edwards That is correct and it also starts East of 5th avenue and continues to the East River. The Epicenter is around St. Marks between Avenue A to Third Avenue. The other Alphabet avenues have taken off also but not as developed as A.
I think there was a lot of cross-pollination going on between her, Courtney and Drew Barrymore at the time. And probably some Kim Gordon influence. I don't mean that as dismissive; they were all cool. But there seemed to be a lot of feeding off of each other in that 1995-1999 period. Which kind of created this ultra-cool "90's chick" aesthetic.
the guy who runs up beside her to say "u were so good in boys dont cry" would literally be me😂 love that movie

I would say "You're literally so good in everything." lol
This is the greatest video I’ve ever seen. So glad I stumbled on it.

I am just glad she undestands that Jennifer Lawrence has no talent, whatsoever. You rule Chloe.

Lawrence is so over rated and is incredibly annoying in interviews . Chloe on the other hand has given a bj on film , swallowed too . :)

Nothing is cooler than telling someone they're not cool. LOL. The irony. Oh, and careful with all that edge, might end up needing a band-aid
She is simply gorgeous----I love Chloekiss from Italy❤💚🤍
I love her!
obsessing over chloe sevigny brought me here.
3:31 is anyone else amazed that the man playing the sax has white eyelashes?

She IS the quintessential NYC hipster chick!

She was like 40 and looked young wow
Drew made a D-lister famous!!
What??? She’s been famous r u kidding me
i just oh shes ..... wwow
Chloe, I love you, but the East Village hasn't been a thing in over a decade. Let it die.

LMAO. The fan's name was Mark. Ironic as we call fans "marks" in the wrestling business.

It's not. It's two different neighborhoods.
She reminds me of Courtney Love in a strange way? Idk?
