I’m not much of a reader unfortunately 😅 but I love that little free libraries exist! I don’t think I have any by me 😅 glad you found books that your mom needed!
I used to dislike reading as a kid/teenager, but once I graduated college and no longer felt forced to read stuff I didn't want to read, I actually started to enjoy it! 📚 So I don't blame anyone who isn't that into it...I'll admit I pretty much just like reading books written for teens and younger, and corny stuff! 🤣 I always tell the librarians I'm making up for lost time reading all the little kid books now that I missed when I wasn't a reader. LOL
Saw one title that may be triggering for some so I am not going to mention it. I love to watch videos like this so keep doing them please 😊
Oh yikes 😳 I know a couple of times my mom and I have noticed some unsavory books and we sometimes remove them and have them go to Goodwill instead so they are less likely to get into the wrong hands, like kids for example. Most of our LFLs are used by kids since we are wedged between a handful of city parks and elementary schools. I must've not noticed the one you mentioned or didn't know it was triggering, my bad! 😫
@@MelissaC Don't worry about it. It triggered me for sure but I'm fine hahaha Will be on the look out for BBW content as I have heard rumors that Iced Lemon Pound Cake mist is all sold out 😭
goodnesssss. I'm about to put my Little Free Library up this weekend and your videos have me SO excited. I'm a little nervous about vandalism. Have you encountered problems with that with the Little Free Libraries that you visit?
That's great you're putting one up! 🥰📚 Thankfully my town doesn't have too many issues that way. It's a very kid friendly neighborhood that usually stays calm. One time I saw a black paint line down the middle of one but I'm not sure if it was vandalism or an accident (like someone leaning something up against it that made a mess, not sure) Good luck with your new Little Free Library, I hope it's lots of fun! 😁
I can't believe how much you compacted into a short video. It was fun the way you allowed the viewer to see all the books in each library box. You definitely have an abundance of library boxes in your local area! We have two library boxes in our small town, plus a sale shelf at our public library, but I usually keep a handful of books in my car so if I go into the nearby larger city and drive near some of their free little library boxes, I have something to swap. Right now I'm reading In the Lives of Puppets by T J Klune.
Aw thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed being able to see inside the library boxes! I know, my area has so many, this wasn't even all of them that are within walking distance! I know we had some going well before COVID, but I think they really increased and thrived during the lockdown! That's smart to keep some books for trading in your car. Enjoy your read! 📚😊
I am currently reading The Golden Swift, by Lev Grossman. Books remaining on my May TBR are: Ranger's Apprentice: The Lost Stories by John Flanagan, Lost Coast Literary by Ellie Alexander, A Walk Along the Beach by Debbie Macomber, and The Mirror Crack'd From Side to Side by Agatha Christie.

Hi Melissa! This was so much fun, and Arthur is adorable as always ❤😊 I love touring the little free libraries in my neighborhood, too! Now I'm interested in reading The Applause of Heaven by Max Lucado. I've only read one other book by him a long time ago, but I remember that I enjoyed it. Have a great week and enjoy the sunshine 😊
