Hi: My husband, our dog and I hiked the LT NoBo the summer of 1974! We were told the bridge over Clarendon Gorge had just opened the previous day! On our crossing it was actually incomplete, missing all the fencing, mesh protection etc., only the major cable on either side so by the center of the bridge anything to hold on to was @ best knee high. Crossing was a terrifying experience for us! Beautiful area and we still talk about that experience today!🙏 We are thoroughly enjoying your posts, thank you ❣️
