This animation as a whole is amazing, the fact that gf's facial expressions change along with the fight, and how she seems happier after bf uses his echo is a good touch. There's also something really amazing about how Whitty has 2 "screams" while bf has 3 (2:18) just shows that bf's abilities are getting stronger over time. The subtle touches to each part of the animation add a lot to it as a whole. amazing job

I like the idea where if BF's health bar gets low enough, you reset back to normal, and you slowly have to build up the echo meter by rapping, leaving you open. This also brings open the concept of *_DANGEROUS_* echoes. As an example, if Whitty went ballistic, and Boyfriend tried echoing him, he would get both the pros.. and cons. In order to contain the rage and fury that goes with the ballistic form, it also means that he would have to contain the power that comes with it. This could also apply to things like Matt's white form (idk it's real name), Sonic.EXE's _everything_, Tricky's ALSO everything, Shaggy's power, and more I'm probably leaving out. This could come in the form of a separate CORRUPTION meter, or something like that.

I like how BF can actually admit defeat.
My absolute favourite thing about this animation is the attention to detail the have during the battles, the subtle facial expressions and poses they do mid fight and to the beat of the music is something as an animator I appreciate the most but is almost never seen imo, and the fantastic animation to my favourite song in the mod! This is stellar, Props to you my dude!! :]

So i came up with ideas how it would work
Cool down: can be activated by pressing Space. Unlike Whitty, after using the fire Echo ability for too long, Bf would Overheat, which would make you take passive damage until you Cool down
Heated Up: This mechanic triggers before Overheating, which needs a Cool down. Heated Up would buff the health gain for both sides and also lower the damage taken
Shrapnel: An invisible, unblockable bomb which would take a piece of your health
I know shrapnels were blocked by fire shields in the animation, but i just wanted to make it more difficult
This is amazing.
It feels so official and I love the addition of dialogue box

He can only do that when fighting the opponent who has that ability. He is basically like an imitator. He can copy abilities. But I don't think that he can learn them permanently and use them on other opponents

I like how despite his ability to copy and even exceed his copy counterparts, he still struggles in fights where the opponent resists and even has countermeasures to their own abilities.
Very creative stuff.
It's not like Kirby who copies defeated foes or MegaMan using his foes weakness against them. This is Boyfriend, and he battles you with your own abilities in order to impress his Girlfriend. Great stuff.

Matt has almost infinite power in his encounter with Matt, just like Shaggy, he is one of the few characters who can defeat BF.

This man gotta make a game of Friday Night Funkin’ characters fighting against eachother. Multiple weeks that represent the lore of each animation that’s created and a free play to choose any character to fight against or use. That would be the definition of fire, not even just pure godlike keep up the great animations.
See the problem is it would be extremely hard to code what happens
Maybe not having any character against any character... That seems like a lot not just to code. I think keeping BF would be fine.

So boyfriend’s echo ability also carries over weaknesses, as we see whitty can only stay “heated” for a limited amount of time, and this reflects onto bf.

well we know steel and fire type moves aren't very effective against a steel and fire type (obvious pokemon reference, a steel and fire type pokemon have quad resist to both fire and steel so the resistances stack)

Technically, Whitty somewhat has some form of flammable ability.
The canon lore states that he can cry flammable liquids, similar to gasoline. And I feel like that spark at the end of his fuse can be enough to ignite it. He is a living weapon after all.
Maybe the Greater Good (The organization that created Whitty) implemented some form of back-up fire powers.
Also, AWESOME work! Love these sorts of fight animations! They're really creative and fun to watch! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see part 2! :D

BF purposely throwing fire at a short fused bomb while GF vibes within explosion range. There's still a few that remember they're canonically idiots. I mean that in the most endearing way possible.

I've never become a fan of channel more quickly than I have with Chinos Animated. Animators like him are veterans at giving what little detail we see of our favorite characters and give them 10x the personality and depth. I never wouldve imagined this kind of interaction between the two. Genius work as always. He knows how to make the most epic vids

For those who wanna make this a mod, normal arrows just make you rap and you gotta rap to survive, while fire ones make you do attacks, and some notes make you do the face thing attack when you full combo them

BF clearly has limits with his Echo, as we've seen with Matt, he's still able to overpower BF, so it stands to reason Shaggy would beat him eventually, but I think BF might be able to endure up to 1%

Honestly it's a gamble, Improbability is coming from a device not Tricky so it'll most likely just be Boyfriend dodging attacks while using some sort of weapon to fight back
Since Tricky is still a Grunt though BF would most likely echo the Grunt part and echo Madness Combat's fighting
