Sir, the population of West Bengal is much more than tamilnadu. But West Bengal has only 16 rajya sabha seats and Tamilnadu has 18 rajya sabha seats. Also the no. of MLAs and loksabha MPs are more in Westbengal than Tamilnadu. But rajya sabha seats are less in WB than TN. Why this is so?
