Dear TH-cam Algorithm: Push this one on all the poor souls who haven't discovered the joys of solo TTRPGs and this channel (Books, Bricks, and Boards). Amen. 😂😂😂
Love the video. You have inspired me to run a solo Tales of the Valiant game using some of my old D&D modules. Thank You Justin and keep up the good work with these videos. 😊
I have found Solitaire TTRPG is a fun way to enjoy the hobby and Tales of the Valiant seems a worthy alternative to our other competing game choices. Not sure that TOV has marked out a distinct identity or niche yet, but channels like yours may be instrumental in helping it to do just that. Like many I was drawn to Project Blag Flag and backed TOV. Ran a couple of sessions for friends using the alpha version and I am happy with my books, but haven't done much with the game post alpha. I am glad to see this video today and hope to see more in weeks to come. Cheers!
Appreciate the comment Fred! I don’t know that it went as far from the source as I wanted, but then again, I don’t know that it could have feasibly. I think it is a really good system at what it is trying to do, which is being a powered up Kobold Press version of 5e. I had a good time with my playthrough!
This is a massively helpful walkthrough. I really appreciate how you took us through the whole thing. I'm going to watch it again and see how I can incorporate it into my own solo sessions, which are sporadic at best. As always, outstanding work!!

Lol. Thanks Dean!
Nicely done! I appreciate all the effort you put into this!
Very welcome, glad it was helpful!
It wouldn't be a Saturday with out a Books, Bricks and Boards video. Cheers, another banger as always.
Thanks JK. I plan my week schedule around having it out at noon for you all each week. I’d hate to disappoint the regulars like yourself! 😉

Thank you Dangar! Appreciate it buddy!

Excited for this one, of course. :)
Knew you would be 😉

Glad it was helpful. When you get some free time, you will have to share a rundown of your plays in the Discord!
Thanks for this, I was curious how ToV plays (never played 5e)
Welcome. Pretty similar, some nice adjustments to the 5e core.
Would suggest putting those time stamps on description so the video will auto mark
I didn’t know that would do that. Thanks for the tip.
@@booksbricksandboards783 dug into it a bit more: you have to add in a 0:00 each time for the Intro /overview or it won't work.
@@Ike_of_pyke thanks! I will try to remember to add… I’m usually editing at 5:00 am, so not functioning at my best lol.
